Background: End of 2016, son was born prematurely. Many days and nights in the hospital. Beginning of 2016, energy levels are reduced, yearly snowboarding trip yielded that I was completely worn out. Muscle pains in my legs were unbareable, severely bad fatigue. Ended up riding one or two days out of

Folate bloods
I had a recent blood test which showed my folate level to be 9.1. I didnt get any ranges from the surgery but when I phoned them yesterday they said that my level needed to be above 3.8. My friend who is a nurse in the same area where I live gave me a range of 4.5-45.3 nm0l/l. I am already anaemic

Sacral Herpes, feeling so helpless and low
I was diagnosed with herpes on Friday and I am really struggling to come to terms with it. I was so surprised as I honestly thought I had Psoriasis and didn't give a thought about an STD as I have only been getting the itchy bumps and blisters at the top of my bum. I have been with my husband for 9 years

Noise sensitivity
I would love any suggestions that you can think of. Since my problems kicked off 18 weeks ago I have had constant intense ear ache and tinnitus. What is most upsetting of all is I cannot bare to listen to music and it's my greatest love. I've had to cancel the opera and ballet and music festivals all

Night Cramps torment
Hi to everyone. Does anyone have any suggestions to help relieve night cramps in both legs and feet? I am 63 years. I have endured these for the last 8 or 9 years and it seems to be getting worse. I am taking prescribed quinine every night, (breaking the course for a week every month) and cover my legs

Good news on numbers!
Hi Everyone! I just had to post to let you know all my numbers are continuing to improve. My biggest issue was hemoglobin and it's now up to a 14. My cells have come back normal in shape and size. My oncologist is thrilled with where I'm at and I did have final iron infusion today as a booster and he

Pelvis injury ... Gone!
In the words of my physio, I put my pelvis "out" 2 weeks ago by attempting to lift a heavy pot in the garden (at the exact second I realised I couldn't lift this pot I felt something go "pop". Ouch). Anyhoo, strapped up, kept working, went to Pilates - but no running ... Until last night! Went for a

Mycophenolate Questions
Hello, Any one on mycophenolate experienced low hemaglobin levels. Mine seems to have gone to 97 from 106 in a 4 week period -.one week it was 114. I have stopped the ferrous sulphate. Maybe i should start it again - just my stools were green (sorry for the detail). Am now on the maximum dose of mycophenolate

Iron supplement advice
Hi all, I have low ferritin which I have supplemented using a sachet of spatone a day and brought up from 13 to 26 with the range of 23-300. It is the only vitamin/mineral that's crucial for thyroid function that I'm low in and as I'm still having issues I'd like to try to raise it higher. However, I

How's your sleep? Could magnesium help you?
HI Everyone. Sleep is one of THE key aspects to our wellbeing. If our sleep is out this can knock out hormones, make us crave more sugar, result in lack lustre complexion and generally just make us feel dull. In order to thrive, we need to be well rested so we can digest the emotions of the day as well
