Samy: I'm so sorry you are suffering at the moment - hopefully the community here can help you with moving forward

With the pain you are experiencing i would suggest getting to emergency and requesting/demanding an ultrasound scan of your thyroid.

The following post reads very similar to your symptoms, so do read thru and note the recommendations.

When you next have your blood work done be sure to fast before (water OK) and avoid Levo for 24 hours before test also - this gives the most accurate results.

A referral to an Endo may be the way to go as you TSH is still not optimal and the current treatment your getting is obviously lacking. Do you have the means to go with private GP?

It may be worth going gluten free to help bring down your antibodies also.

And find out what your white cell count is with the next blood work to rule out infection!

If you go to this site they can supply a list of "thyroid friendly" doctors upon request.

I don't know the cost involved for private however as I'm not in the UK

Thanks rusty i have a look

If you can get new bloodwork done and post the results here under a new post . You need not just TSH but also free T4, free T3, as well as folate, b12, D3, ferritin etc.

good luck

This is the latest one rusty i did ask my gp to test t4 and t3 she said there s no need and after getting lots of information abt the vitamins which my gp never told me abt i started taking those too so im taking b12 bcomplex selenium d3 ferrous sulphate wellwoman multivitamins and accudophilus

Well we know by your TSH level that you are not optimal there - it should be 1 or lower. And to be told there's "no need" to test your T3 and T4 when you are this symptomatic is ludicrous. Find another MD who will have your blood levels tested! Or get a private practitioner via the link supplied to Thyroid UK and find a new doc there.
