High cortisol
I know that high cortisol is linked to PMR and also
stress
related, but I didn't know: "Signs (of high cortisol) can include: weight gain, especially around the face and abdomen feeling tired and foggy gut issues insomnia or poor sleep facial hair growth in women" I find this interesting

Struggling
She could handle no
stress
anymore and moved in with her best friend for a
stress
free supportive space. Left me abandoned and traumatized. Turned my entire life upside down. Do the best I can but is very hard to be pushed so far out of her life. She won't do therapy and has damaged me big time.

I'm back!
I had polymyalgia 6 years ago but have been free of it for just over a year.Unfortunately , we have had quite a bit of
stress
in the family and the tell tell symptoms came back. Had a blood test and CRP levels 63 mg so yes I was right. A GP texted me to say that he was prescribing 15mg for 14 days.

To rest or to work after transfer? (high stress job!)
It is a high
stress
job and I have been doing my utmost to reduce this where I can. My egg collection is Friday. I am a bit of a mess, struggling with loneliness on this journey, side effects of meds and general overwhelm. Thank you to anyone who can provide even some words of comfort.

Unsure
I put it down to
stress
because of pressure at work, she remarked it could have been a mini stroke, I have had no other issues like this since then, although I have many other health issues.

Sudden crash back into fatigue.
Or maybe a bit of
stress
has triggered problems. Otherwise I’m starting to think something else might be wrong with me. Just wanted to check with you experts that that the levo increase wouldn’t ever have a sudden effect??

Anxiety
She could get distressed/overwhelmed easily by things others would cope with better - but since this has fully kicked in this year (
stress
was final trigger) that has amplified massively.

I don't know if this is linked to RA itself, medication side effects, may be
stress
at times, or a mixture of all?I use tocilizumab for RA and Sertraline an anti depressant ( although not depressed now, I have been on it a few years, its called a maintenance dose) I take one Lanzoprazole a day.

How do I cope with exhaustion & chest pain?
I’ve had CT scans,
stress
tests, ultrasound, and an angioplasty in which no major blockages were found. I’m told I’m on the max dose of stations, & BP meds. My cardio recently declared that it may be small vessel disease, for which I read there is no cure.

. Thankyou in advance for any reassurance!

The dreaded Bradycardia is back.
I'm fitted with an ilr (implant loop recorder) so I've pressed my key fob to highlight the episodes for the pacing team to see I also have a exercise
stress
test booked for next wk so hopefully something will come of it and compare notes with the pacing team. Cheers Taz.
