Very stiff knees and slightly puffy ankles
I have high BP and the
steroids
make that worse so there is pressure to reduce Pred. I am on quite a lot of BP meds. Thank you for everyone’s help.

They’re saying the high doses of inhaled
steroids
are the cause of my infections, but I’m colonised with pseudomonas and have nebulised antibiotics to keep under control.

Anyone with behcet's taking rinvoq?
Since starting rinqov I've successfully reduced my
steroids
to a low level 2.5mg daily. Hopefully will come off completely soon but I'm really feeling the tapering drops even by 0.5 mgs every 4 weeks. Interested to hear if anyone else is on it!

Sort of flu
I have been very slowly reducing
steroids
and am down to 0.5 mg. I’ve been getting shooting pains in one knee and have painful fingers, I’ve never had these particular symptoms before! I don’t know if pmr is flaring up, and am wondering whether to up the steroid dose, and if so what to?

Am I overdoing it?
End of July back on
steroids
15mg. I’ve been tapering very successfully since then and am now down to 4.5mg (tapering 0.5mg every 2 weeks).

help for cirrhosis
The new doc has put me on
steroids
for a few weeks for inflammation and another med. for inflammation . I have read all of your comments for at least a year about o eating healthy, and I’ve lost 20 pounds. I’m afraid now that I’m too late because of the cirrhosis.

Rheumatology
I have been on high dose
steroids
for PMR, for around 2 years. I am gradually cutting this right down to 3mg. I have never seen a rheumatologist, my doctor doesn't think it is necessary. I have no idea whether my adrenal glands have kicked in, or indeed do I really have PMR.

How accurate is a visual field test?
I have a history of Polymyalgia Rheumatica (PMR ) that was successfully treated with
steroids
but the high
steroids
initially worsened my glaucoma. The cause of my uveitis has been classed as unknown or linked to this condition or a mild case of shingles on my left shoulder.

Hip operation and PMR
Any advice re
steroids
before my op would be greatly appreciated. I believe that the advice is to take 5mg extra before the op but for how long etc. I am currently taking 6mg and 6 and a half mg per day on alternate days and have done for a few weeks now.

I have read it daily and been helped from the experiences of others particularly in terms of reducing the amount of
steroids
. I am now down to 2.5mg (after 2.5 years!) However, without the encouragement and advice from this site I would have been floundering. Good luck with your presentation.

steroids

Still waiting definitive diagnosis, second opinion this week
She offered
steroids
but did say that blood tests would be helpful wanting me to attend A&E that night. . How I wish I had taken the steroid prescription but at the time thought it best to be certain.

Weight loss with psoriasis
I take a variety of
steroids
very often, and unfortunately despite eating healthy, I can't reduce my body weight, my doctor tells me to just eat healthy but also not to deprive myself of nutritional value. https://www.webhosting1st.com/
