To Tangocharlie.

I would just like to say that my first appointment was a telephone appointment, my GP immediately from the symptoms diagnosed PMR, she prescribed Prednisolone (20mgs) initially, I went overnight from being unable to move to virtually back to normal. The most helpful part of the consultation was that she recommended I should follow this site. I have read it daily and been helped from the experiences of others particularly in terms of reducing the amount of steroids. I am now down to 2.5mg (after 2.5 years!) However, without the encouragement and advice from this site I would have been floundering. Good luck with your presentation.

Hi and welcome!

As DorsetLady has explained, when replying to a thread you use the reply box there, either below the post itself or at the end for a general comment/reply or to each individual comment if you want to make a specific reply. Each comment has a blue Reply box under it - together with a like/heart symbol, Report and More which allows you to Edit or Delete your own post.

Just occurs to me - did you do that? It seems something of a slip to manage to write a separate post but it has happened several times recently and I wonder if it is an HU bug. And it came up with your user name as the title - which has also happened several times. I would put nothing past HU technology!!!!!

if you have read a post you wish to reply to [or a response within it] then just tap the Reply button in blue box underneath it.

If you want to start a new post of your own -the easiest way is tap the Write box [again in blue box] underneath the PMRGCAuk banner - or select the Post icon at the very top of screen - and then choose the forum you wish to post in.

Have a look at this for more help -
