Any advice for gastro symptoms which respond to steroids, but no diagnosis? Does normal colonoscopy cover the small bowel?
hi all, I hope it's ok to post here - I don't have a diagnosis of crohn's or colitis but am looking for information. I'm diagnosed coeliac (6+ years ago) and autoimmune hypothyroid, with ongoing and increasing gastro symptoms - the main problem being that I feel extremely unwell like I've got flu

Alvesco 160
Hi. the doctor changed my inhaler to Alvesco 160, one dose twice a day. Does anyone of you have experience with this inhaler? How long does it take for the inhaler to start working? And I wonder if this is a sufficient dose if I have severe asthma? Thank you for all your replies. Regards

Ivermectin
I was recently diagnosed with CLL after a year plus of repeating colds and respiratory infections. My whites were in the high 20's sometimes almost doubling in a couple of weeks time. Now they are in the low to mid teens and I feel good. So, my question is has anyone used Ivermectin with any success?

Getting a cold/sore throat just as tapering about to start- would you advise delaying the taper till cold is better?
I’ve now successfully tapered from initial 15mg Pred dose to 12.5mg over 5 weeks using DLady slow taper, then from 12.5 to 10mg, and just about to start next taper from 10mg to 9mg… but woke up yesterday with sore throat and aching lower back that persisted all day. Took Covid test just in case but that

Overcoming Pneumonia Susceptibility
I flunked my first docetaxel infusion in late 2022 and a week later developed pneumonia resulting in me carried by ambulance to the hospital. As I said in my bio, I was told that another six hours without intervention, I would have been lost. I spent four days there with "tank car" loads of vancomycin

Do you Know Your Pulse?
Do you know what a normal resting heart rhythm is? Do you know what an irregular heart rhythm feels like? Did you know that an irregular pulse can be the very early warning signs of an arrhythmia? It is vital you monitor your heart rhythm by taking regular pulse checks. For further information

beta alanine dose/timings
this has been suggested by the clinic nurse as not finding anti histamines to be helpful. My husband (Jak 2 pos, pv) has been tolerating Pegasys 45 mcg really well. Feels better than he had in ages. However after three weeks, he has become quite itchy (manageable during day) but it is waking him at night

Switching from T3 to T4
I've been on T3 only for almost 15 years, on levo before that. Kept having hypo symptoms despite high dosage of levo and my RT3 went through the roof (which most endos pooh-pooh away), so my dr at the time advised me to have a go at T3, for a short while. After some time I was told to go on dessicated

Radiation side effects
The good news is that my husband sailed thru the Orgovyx with no problems whatsoever, now is in his 6th month and is due to complete that treatment at the end of June. The bad news is that he has had 22 sessions of salvage RT. He is supposed to have a total of 38 however, he has developed severe cramping

Trelegy and pneumonia?
In April this year, I was prescribed Trelegy after an exacerbation that resulted in respiratory failure. I have read that people who are on Trelegy are a lot more likely to get pneumonia but I had the vaccination a couple of years ago so I am a little confused. Does anyone know anything about this?
