steroid injections
I had a steroid injection in my low back yesterday. This was to help nerve pain I have been having in my thigh. Today, could I use the steroid from this having this shot of steroid from this injection as a way to decrease my daily steroid by 1/2- 1mg.? Will that work? Hope that makes senseš

Pain Relief
I was coping with the help of
steroid
injections
, paracetamol and Ibuprofen however
steroid
injections
are now limited with less relief and it lasting less than a month. ( I pay privately as my steroid injection experience at my GPs left me never wanting to return) I am now on blood thinners so Ibuprofen

From Prednisone to Morphine
He also suggested I should have
steroid
injections
in both knees. Iād welcome comments on this unusual approach. Iām currently at 5.5 mg of Pred & reducing very slowly. Pain levels are manageable but still evident - not helped with knee bursitis.

Periods delayed after steroid injections
Hi,Has anyone had the experience of their periods being delayed after having
steroid
injections
. If so, for how long? I'm a week late. They haven't been this late in a long while. I have an IVF consultation next month so I'm worried they won't return Thanks

painful hip and knee SLE lupus
Iāve had it aspirated and
steroid
injections
but sadly they had no effect on my knee and just resulted in me having a bad steroid flare ! Iām becoming pretty desperate to try and find something to give me relief, I swim regularly but walking and stairs are becoming increasingly challenging.

Chondocalcitis incurable?
I've been told it's incurable though
steroid
injections
in the knee bring relief for a couple of months. Has anybody else had experience of this disabling affliction and any knowledge of effective treatment other than knee replacement? Thank you.

Hi, new to this page/forum, looking for information and advice.
Offered
steroid
injections
, I declined as have done that several times with only a little temporary relief. So offered Hydroxychloroquine to try and see if it helps till next appointment in a couple of months.

TINGLY FEET
Has anyone on here experienced tingly feet during the night after having
steroid
injections
in the knees. I had the injections in both of my knees for arthritis only four days ago. The tingly feeling seems just like having a flare when I need to increase my steroids.

Bursitis of toes & Steroid Injection
Anyone had
steroid
injections
for bursitis & is it going to be as painful as I think? I declined this for the arthric big toe & rightly so as the surgeon pointed out there was no joint space left into which to inject. Sarah

Steroid injection into Kiloid Scars
I think one of the options suggested may be direct
steroid
injections
into the scars themselves. I have had PMR for 9 years and have at last got stable on 7 mg prednisolone daily after a few ups and downs. I have mild aches and pains and occasional mild symptoms of adrenal (cortisol?)

Recap on Intense pain post
I have also had numerous
steroid
injections
with no effect after the first one. Every cortisone injection since has been ineffective. The pain is sharp as in nerve compression that is obviously my first suspected cause.

Lymphedema & Knee bursitis
I have had a new hip in 2017 and I also suffered with my knees which despite many
steroid
injections
they are no longer having any effect. I saw my rheumatologist in November last year after 18 months from the last appointment.

Getting Off of Painkillers
Over the years, I have had several radio frequency ablations and a handful of
steroid
injections
. The prescription for the medication has changed over the years but the dosage has stayed pretty much the same. My current prescription is 10 mg twice a day.

I've have two lots of
steroid
injections
which had no effect whatsoever and then finally in 2022 I had radio frequency ablation which was brilliant. I had instant relief from this.
