Does anyone know how long you have to leave it after rutuximab before having the shingles vaccine. I had infusion in December & my GP has never offered this or the pneumonia jab so was going to chase this up. Tia

Hi, Recently diagnosed with PMR and having started on 30mg. prednisolone now down to 15 mg in 3 weeks and seem to be doing well. Just had blood tests done and white blood cell count is high 16.4 10*9/L and am rather concerned, although as I understand this is a common side effect of steroids. Any

Weaning off times for Levothyroxine and steroids for BFP - please share? Thank you
Hi Ladies My clinic want to wean me off steroids and levothyroxine (only took as levels elevated by IVF drugs) can you please advise me on the timelines that your clinic used, or times you would recommend based on your personal experience? It’s a bit scary as these drugs helped to get the BFP. Thank

asthma cough
I’d love it if anyone has any tips for calming an asthma cough without resorting to steroid tablets. It’s only just over a month since my last lot and I’d really like to try and avoid them if possible. It’s driving me and everyone else mad!

Covid day four....U.K
Hi all. This sounds so stupid but I thought it was a regular cold. Just did a COVID test and it's positive. I think it maybe too late to access antivirals now? What should I do? Sorry, just a bit panicked. Thank you in advance.

Spotting early and slow slow periods
Hi, I’ve been trying to conceive for a few years now and have done a couple of unsuccessful ivf cycles. I have tons of eggs and respond very well to treatment. However, I don’t think I am “normal”. We’ve identified quite severe male factor issues and so went for ICSI and we ought to be having another

(SENSITIVE) Do we try again?
I’m 36, so lucky to have two beautiful, healthy children (both ICSI babies), but I had always dreamed of three. I don’t want this to come across as insensitive in anyway (the reason for our infertility is as a result of years of chemotherapy my husband endured, after being diagnosed with an aggressive

Isolated
I originally had an Ent appointment . Then all of a sudden I have an autoimmune disease and multiple tests and treatments. I'm on steroids that gave immediate side effects I'm taking loads of tablets every day. Every letter that comes through my door has NHS written on it. I'm physically disfigured.

Hi, I have only found this group today so I am really pleased to find ANYONE else who has PMR! I have difficult situation as I was responding really well 25mg of steroids per day, when I developed a CSR in my eye. I have had one before from Stress a couple of years ago and knew this was a risk,

Confused about the NHS process for IVF
Hello My husband (age 37) and I (age 32) have been referred to the local infertility service via my GP in Leicestershire. My husband has severe oligospermia, so we were told by the embryologist that we would need ICSI. Also, my AMH is only 9pmol/l. I'm confused about what happens next... I've been

Thrush but not a bird
I have been given the wrong dose of my inhaler for Asthma. Now have to use two puffs instead of one to obtain the same amount. Will this increase my sore throat and oral thrush burden ? It is something I struggle with. Nothing to be done until Monday. Any advice would be welcome.

Second Rituximab infusion.

Heart Medicine Increased inhaled steroid absorption.
There is a drug interaction between inhaled steroids, and diltiazem I found out. I recently developed an arrhythmia and was placed on Arnuity after stopping Breo. Breo can contribute to a A fib/ A flutter which I developed. After being on Arnuity(Steroid inhaler) and diltiazem for several weeks
