Ok, to follow up from my previous post:
The good news is, no ovarian tumour residue etc.
The “we don’t know yet news” is:
The cervix , when removed and biopsied , showed it had high grade of both CIN & CGIN cells - as the cervix was removed they feel they should have removed the risk. To make sure , I get a CT scan in 4/5 months and a smear of my ‘vaginal cavity’ to check for no spread of those cells in 6 months time, which will be by my consultant.
If they are both negative and I feel comfortable not having further tests, they will sign me off. If anything isn’t negative then we chat about other options such as radiotherapy etc.
No rest for the brain just yet !
