Cholesterol prevention Lequio Inqlisiran offered by GP
I have Atrial Fibrilation and pacemaker fitted, and therefore I know that there is a higher risk of stroke, so I had tried
statins
, but found that bad s/e were making symptoms of my Fibromyalgia much worse and I stopped it.

reducing atorvastatin
My cholesterol is only 3.5, but I do have serious plaque and calcium biuld up in three arteries, and although
statins
won't reduce it, they are supposed to stabilise it long term.

statin side effects
But I assume that i need
statins
as I don’t think that I will be able to maintain a LDL of below 1.8 without them. Does anyone have ideas on what statin causes the least muscle pain please.

Aspirin now added to medication.I am finding
Statins
difficult to manage. Switched from Atvorstatin as it made me constipated. Simvastatin at 20mg is still causing constipation and affecting sleeping, waking up several times a night etc.

Is there an alternative to
statins
. I also have an under active thyroid and take thyroxine, I have read that an active thyroid makes cholesterol higher, but is that the case if it’s controlled by medication.

Statins and B12 deficiency
Her advice was to start taking
statins
. I managed to get her to request some blood tests first. Partly because I wanted my folate, ferritin etc checked, but also to see whether
statins
are necessary..... I have some reluctance surrounding
statins
.

UK General Election. Campaign for better Treatment of RLS
Iron therapy, including iron infusions should be available as first line treatment and GPs should know the extensive list of medications that actually trigger and worsen RLS, including anti depressants, sedating anti histamines,
statins
, beta blockers and PPI meds.

A Doctor at the Diabetes Clinic (I am pre-diabetic) recommended
statins
when I inquired about how to offset the tendency of Prednisone to raise blood sugar. I don't want to take them. Is there a valid reason why I should?

Coming off of medication?
He’s on quite a lot of medication - aspirin, beta blockers,
statins
and ACE inhibitors and his dosage of the beta blocker was recently increased as he was feeling dizzy. Since then he’s been so tired, really struggling with his energy levels and low mood.

Safe and useful to take K2 MK7 after stent and under clopidogrel ??
+ 80mg
statins
+ asaflow + ramipril... I'm looking for something else, to treat the cause and not only the symptoms of calcification. I've read positive accounts and testimonies of people on vitamin K2 but is it safe in my case?

Atorvastatin triggering AF?
I know there's a lot on
statins
on here but I haven't seen anyone actually make a possible association between AF and
statins
. Thanks for any information.

statins!
I am wondering if anyone else here is taking
statins
? I have resisted until now but have given in. However, having read some of the side effects I wish I hadn’t! I have permanent nerve damage to my left foot after shingles last year but am walking quite well now with a brace.
