After ordinary check up, my cardiologist diagnosed a block of branch and prescribed coronarography... during the procedure placing of a stent and since then I have to take the "usual" cocktail: clopidogrel (for maybe 1 year?) + 80mg statins + asaflow + ramipril... I'm looking for something else, to treat the cause and not only the symptoms of calcification. I've read positive accounts and testimonies of people on vitamin K2 but is it safe in my case?

Safe and useful to take K2 MK7 after stent and under clopidogrel ??
Hi Livingstones. I’m afraid I can’t help with info about vitamin K2, but the best person to ask is your local pharmacist (not a GP practice pharmacist), they will be able to tell you what the interaction with your heart drugs is. Good luck xx
hello
I am taking vitamin K2 and I am on cardiac meds
But I don’t have you condition, I strongly suggest that to ask the cardiologist who performed the procedure and prescribed the medication, he is the best one to guide you and advise you.
Good luck
Hi there, check out drugs.com it's the site I use to check drug interactions. I hope this helps.
I take it along with my heart medication it was recommended by Osteopenia doctor for my bones and I read how many conditions it protects from
I've started following Dr Esselstyn advices on nutrition and morevover, with intermittent fasting. And I can tell you, a HUGE change! I don't feel that "something wrong" in my heart any more. If you doubt, give it a try for 10 days and I guarantee you'll agree with me. (Look for tasty recipes, but NO sugar, NO oil, No animal products... or at least the best you can, but it's worth it.)
