Atrial Flutter and Cardioversion
I have Atrial flutter (AFL) caused by cardiac surgeries in early childhood and my late teens. My initial diagnosis was Pulmonary Atresia with Intact Ventricular Septum. I developed AFL when I was 28 years old (2014) but I have had recurrent episodes ever since. As a result I've had three cardioversions

Dizziness on beta blockers
Does anyone get dizziness a few hours after taking beta blockers? I am on sotalol now but have been on bisoprolol and atenolol. I thought the dizziness would be quicker than that! Also do you wake up early restless? Thank you

Back Ache?
I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend! I was diagnosed a year ago June with OC, stage 4 that spread to a few lymph nodes, stomach lining, liver and colon. Surgery and chemo has definitely helped but I am platinum resistant (which is disappointing). In any event, over the past several weeks, when

Long Term Taxol
I have a question for those who have been or are on long term Taxol. My onc wants to put me on it indefinitely and says she has had patients remain stable for years. So my question is in reference to hair loss. Has anyone lost hair AND have it grow back while still on Taxol? Thanks.

How to stop weight loss?
Hello. For the past 2-3 months I've been having trouble maintaining weight. It has dropped as low as 104. I should be around 115-120 for my height. I am vegan, don't drink, and am trying to shove in the calories. I've also experienced some stomach upset (mild nausea) that makes eating unappealing. I've

Phase one trials
Hi there lovely ladies I'm sorry that I haven't posted for a while but things have been a bit up and down for me lately. I have had 13 of 18 weekly taxol infusions. Initially my CA 125 dropped significantly from over 400 to 65. I was very excited that this 6th line of treatment was working. My mid treatment

Taxol
Hi Ladies Just a quick catch-up. Unfortunately Caelyx did not work for me. Ended up in hospital with high temps after two out of three infusions. Scan showed slight advance of cancer so it was decided to put me on Taxol. Three weeks on and a week off. Should have started last Monday but sickness crept
