Hi there,

I would be really interested to see the replies to your message as my husband has just swapped to this medication from Verapamil.

Wishing you lots of luck.

I’ve been on it for about 18 months for AF - no problems at all. 120mg BD

I have been on Sotolol for over 10 years. Depending on the dosage you are on, depends how you feel. I have have been on various doses over this period. Currently I am on 80mg BD and I feel OK. When I was on a higher dosage I felt lethargic but still carried on working but obviously tired when I got home from work. Had more VT ablation last year and since that and a reduction in the amount of Sotolol I take I feel absolutely find and I have to admit it is properly the best I have felt in many a year. I hope this helps you. From my personal experience I have had no adverse side affects in taking this drug.

I’ll be on 40mg twice a day, start it tomorrow fingers crossed I won’t get the side effects I have been getting on bisoprolol and atenolol!
