Long Term Taxol

I have a question for those who have been or are on long term Taxol. My onc wants to put me on it indefinitely and says she has had patients remain stable for years. So my question is in reference to hair loss. Has anyone lost hair AND have it grow back while still on Taxol? Thanks.

Hi I lost my hair while on fec, but it grew back when I was on Taxol. I only had 3 cycles in 2013 as didnt have any tumours they had been removed surgically as I was only stage 2

I am currently on taxol along with a couple of other drugs as part of a clinical trial. I did lose my hair and I believe it was taxol that made me lose it. I looked up online and it says your hair will be in growing back about six weeks after you finish the taxol treatment. I never heard of it growing back while you're still on taxol. I have been on it about 4 months now. It's interesting to hear you say you're all talk is going to put you on it and definitely. My doctor told me last month that at some point they would take me off taxol for various reasons. She was very vague but I got the feeling that was commonly done. She did not give me a time frame.

Well they take you off if there is progression OR if you do not react well to it.

I was on taxol during my first dx. I did lose my hair, eyebrows and eyelashes.
