Have you noticed you run better in bad weather ?
I had a lovely lunch time 30 min run today. The snow started but the paths were clear. I was warm and panthering. Picked up another sprint award from map my run and a pb. Fabulous 5 k. One of the first runs I really enjoyed, I wasn't that tired - shame that work called me back or I would have carried

has anyone tried coenzyme q10 for copd or IPF help?
I wondered how you found it if so. I came across this link which is why I am asking. It says Pao2 was significantly improved by taking it, and if that's right, many here may be interested in finding out more. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/8241703

Aha!
Finally looked up pace and speed and understand what that's all about! So if I really want to know how fast I run I need to not count in any warm up/warm down walks. Hmmm.... with my old stopwatch and desktop version of MapMyRun that makes it a bit harder to be really accurate, although I didn't count

Surgeries, over medications, and misery
Been a year since spinal surgery and its been nothing bit trouble. The use of terrible anti-tnf over better meds because insurance wouldn't approve and now needing stomach and foot surgeries. When is too much too much? I might be learning the answer ;(.

Pete's angiogram
We have just returned from Pete's angiogram appointment and he does have sarcoidosis in the heart. It has caused the heart to stiffen slightly so may have been there for some time. He is doing well though and is being monitored. We will wait for an appointment to come through for the Royal Brompton as

New
Hi, I'm new here and have read quite a few posts tonight which I've found really helpful. I was searching the Internet in desperation, yet again, to see if I could find something different to help me relieve my symptoms and came across RLSUK, don't know why I've not seen it before. I blame it on sleep

London Zoo 10K Stampede - A Spectator's View!
Evening all, Aussie reporting in after the London Zoo 10K that I couldn't run today... Firstly, thank you to ALL of you for your kind words to date and I will reply to you soon. I thought it would be worthwhile sharing my experience of being a DNS today but still being at the race... and it was great

News Just In.....
Are you all sitting comfortably? I doubt that but I'll begin anyway! So with the lidocaine infusion a wash out I'm back on the hospital treadmill to see what can be done. I am reluctant to have any more spinal surgery, not least because I have so much scar tissue that the last time they had to go in

Spinal Cord Stimulator
Hi Folks, My PM doc seems to be nearly at the end if the road with me - I've been a chronic pain patient for nearly 40 years now - I'm 60 this month. He's listed me for one more procedure but after that the only option is for referral on for assessment for a SPS. He is not very optimistic about this

MCT vs Coconut Oil
I recently purchased MCT oil, thinking it might be easier to take because it's more liquid in form. I noticed my tremors where worse, after having had good luck with coconut oil. So I looked up info on MCT vs Coconut oil, and found that the most important medium chain fatty acid, lauric acid, has been

What a fiasco!
Hi there I am sure like a lot of others on this site that the process we all go through when diagnosed with an ovarian cyst is less than perfect. I feel like I have been on a roller coaster for the last 6 weeks as my cyst is complex with solid components, multilobulated and with multiple septations
