Pottypete Atrial Tachycardia ablation report
Hello everyone. Firstly thank you all so much for all the support and good wishes that have been posted in the past few days. I really appreciate them all. This may be a rather long post – try to stay awake. Yes I am still in the land of the living and also currently in Normal Sinus Rhythm.

Where I have been?
Hey guys!! I am back after a long hiatus. Didn't realise i'd be missed but I've received a lot of PM's on here from people asking where I am, am I okay etc so I thought i'd write you all a little update. I'd rather not say why I took a hiatus from everything but lets say it was 50% work (yes I am

Svt/AF ablation unsuccessful - any tips?
Hi, Quick background I'm 36 (well on Sunday!) I've had what I thought was fast AF for about 4 years. Mine are sudden onset and have mostly been reduced in hospital as vagal techniques haven't worked. I've seen a specialist EP at Bart's hopsital - he has dishlgnosed svt which degrades into af and

Atrial Tachycardia following Ablation for Atrial Fibrillation
I am 47 year old male in decent health (apart from this). In September of last year I went for an annual Blood Pressure test at my GPs. The nurse doing the test thought my heart rate was high and suggested I have an ECG. After having the ECG and visiting the hospital I was told I had persistent AF.

So im new here, i was finally diagnosed as having atrial tachycardia, im trying to understand it better, not much info out there on it. My doctor said its SVT and its the more rare and unfortunately harder SVTs to treat. I was wondering what exactly is atrial tachycardia, is it the same as AFIB

So scared !
Im only 16 years old and I have a pulse rate between 80-100 or sometimes more . I have done many medical tests to rule out any underlying cause but nothing . Also , the internet says that those who have a slightly fast pulse die earlier ... I can also see my belly pulsating so clearly that it scares

Olive Leaf Extract and AF medications
Does anyone take Olive Leaf Extract as a natural supplement? Apparently it has proven benefits for lowering blood pressure (a calcium channel blocker) , and also as an anti-coagulant (prevents platelet aggregation). I'm on Apixaban and Verapamil and wondered if it would be safe to take olive leaf as

THE EYES HAVE IT
Went to the opthamologist for my year checkup, and found out that the MonSter has done some damage to my optic nerve since last year, but thank goodness it was negligible. So, he gave me a new script for glasses and off we go for another year. I also found a marvelous pain doctor who won't just throw

Heart feels like it stops when going to sleep
When I am starting to fall asleep I get a feeling where my heart feels like it's stopped. It's quite a shock as I also feel like I have no air so have to take a big breath in. I had a 24 hour ecg and my resting heart rate is normal however my heart rate goes to 38 bpm when i'm asleep. The cardiologist

Positive aspects of medication
We see a lots of posts about the negative aspects that may or may not be attributed to the medication we have to take so I would like to add something positive :-) I am on a beta blocker called Nebivolol and the anticoagulant Apixaban for PAF and feel more alert and energetic than I have done in a
