Hopefully the next week will tell..!
Hi all, appointment went well, ECG proved what I already knew. Two things, still in Sinus Rhythm & low pulse, but Blood pressure good at 134/62. So dropping my Bisoprolol down to 2.5mg for the coming week with another appointment due for next Wednesday. Can't argue with that.

Change of blood thinner...
Hi, I'm feeling a little apprehensive! Yesterday I said goodbye to Warfarin and because my blood was too thin to start Apixaban right away, I've to wait until tomorrow morning before I can take another blood thinner, so hoping a couple of days without a blood thinner will not be a problem? Checking

Bisoprolol tablets
Good Morning All, my heart decided to have a flip yesterday after 12 months free. It is more ectopic beats now than AF. Pulse seems to be faint ever other one. Instead of a strong pulse that you can feel. I was cut down from 10mg to now on 5 mg in January. Does anyone just take extra bisoprolol without

Occipital Neuralgia & constant neck stiffness
For over a year now I’ve had chronic burning head neuralgia at the back of my head - either side of top of head, behind my ears & a constant feeling like I’ve been smashed by a baseball bat ! I also have tinnitus/hypercusis & pain behind my forehead & eyes ! I’ve tried the nerve block & it did absolutely

Mobitz ii Heart Block Questions
Hi guys, this is my first post, apologies for it being long, the paragraph below sums my situation up if you can’t be bothered reading. Go easy on me, I am struggling and wanting something positive to focus on. I recently had a 3 day holter for palpitations which revealed that I had occasional instances

Took the leap of faith 🤞🏻
After nearly 5 weeks in Af, had a telephone consultation with specialist. Prescribed Flecaneide 100 mg twice a day. My fear of this medication was finally out weighed with the length of this Af episode. Took my first dose yesterday and miracle of miracles back in sinus rhythm within 2 hours! Still

Question on penile nerve block injection sites recovery after circumcision
I had circumcision about 2 months back. Local anesthetic, penile nerve block injections I believe, were used as well as general anesthesia. It seems I have some minor pain, discomfort in areas of the shaft, where I believe the injections were done. Dr. had said it takes time to heal, when I last visited

Apixaban and Dentist's
I am on Apixaban and I have to have a wisdom tooth removed. My Dentist is reluctant to do it without consulting with my GP. He has no experience with Apixaban. And is in need of advice with regards the stopping of Apixaban prior to the tooth removal. I cannot get in touch with my GP due to surgery

Tips on managing pain please:)
Really struggling with severe pain. Waiting for my GP to get funding for a nerve block injection so there's a very long wait. Any ideas on how to cope with severe pain when meds aren't strong enough? Will have to try an alternative and someone has suggested Pregablin instead of Gabapentin but any tips

Apixaban
Morning quick question I take Apixaban and have just seen on tv if you are on an anticoagulant you should not be eating leafy green veg! Being a vegetarian I eat a fair amount! I thought this was only if you were taking Warfarin!

Ablation number 3
Had a call from cardiology office to quickly schedule tachycardia ablation. I’ve already had 2 afib ablations w previous cardiologist, which seemed to have worked. Never could get that dr to address the remaining tachycardia. Switched to a new dr and so wish I’d found him to begin with 6 years ago. Amazing

Metoprolol
Hello everyone, I am feeling rather low and not very well. I have to take Ciprofloxacin antibiotic for a chest infection which has pseudomonas aeruginosa bacteria in my lungs. I can’t take Flecainide as my pill in the pocket if I have an AF episode. The doctor has told me to take 25mgs of metoprolol

Is it safe to have a couple of glasses of wine?
Hi everyone, I was diagnosed last year with Afib, my highest reading being 170 beats per minute. I am on Bisoprolol and Apixaban, which so far have kept me well controlled. I have never been a big drinker and haven't touched a drop since diagnosis. My question is, would it be safe to have a couple of

Chronic pelvic floor pain and bleeding after bowel movements
Got examined again today, not hemorrhoids from what they could see.. About 2.5 years ago I had a hip arthroscopic surgery on my left hip. For about 1.5 years I was feeling awesome and pain free. But then this last year I have had chronic pelvic floor floor pain that gets worse after sex and sitting for

CBD Oil for Back Pain?
I have suffered with back problems for the past 20years which over the last 7/8 years have gradually got worse. It started of with pain in my lower back which was helped by regular trips to a Chiropractor. This allowed me to continue walking with my local walking group. But slowly over the past
