Post ablation worries!

Hello people , I had an ablation in march of this year , had one minute run of fast heart rate in April ! I had nothing since then until this morning , realised I had forgot to take my meds last night and this morning , had a twenty second run of quickish af , which went back by itself! I take 50 mg of flecainide twice a day! I see on here that some people say it can take six months to properly settle down . Many thanks in advance people x

Absolutely right Achant, so try not to worry. Added stress wont help which I know is easy to say......

It sounds to me that you are doing very well. The very short episode with such a fast correction is a good indication that your heart is healing well. It is still early days and this is a reminder that you need to take the medication until your EP tells you to stop.

I had an ablation in March also, still having lots of issues, especially if I forget my meds. Taking sotalol and going to Cleveland clinic for 2 nd opinion and possible 3 rd ablation

yes , 6 months is a good measure of calming down. Don't forget meds, Big thing.
