failed cycle and break outs
Hi guys, iv felt a little sad lately but have come back with the attitude that if it happens it happens, no point losing my sanity and health over something i can't control. I had 15 eggs harvested and 0 fertilized. I'v had a bleed and can start after my next bleed for my 2nd cycle, but feel really unsure

Sedation or anaesthetic?!
Hi all Me and my husband are just looking into options following our first failed ICSI cycle a couple of weeks ago. We are now paying privately so looking at other clinics and the one we like best so far only offers sedation for EC rather than general anaesthetic like I had last time. I just wondered

Shocked and confused to say the least
Evening all, Just an update after receiving all my pre IVF test results. My AMH result has come back as a surprise, a score of 7.8 which the doctor said it is low for my age as I'm 29. We've had ICSI due to my partner's sperm but never had AMH before. Also the follicle count has reduced from 22 to

A Baby Girl...at last
MY Baby Girl was born on 27.09.17 weighing 4lbs4oz She was born at 35wks. > Following my result from my low PAPP-A levels it appears they were right; there were some growth concerns from 30wks onwards and I was monitored closely by consultant . At 34 wks I was given steroid injections to mature her

First consultation in morning!
Hi Me and my husband have our first consultation tomorrow at the Herts and Essex clinic. I went last week and had an internal scan and bloods as I was going to donate my eggs to help other women but unfortunately my amh was only 11 and too low for this. Can anyone tell me what to expect at our first

Update following egg retrieval
We had egg retrieval yesterday and after slow response and slow growth they got 15 eggs. We've had the call from the embryologist this morning and out of 15, 10 were mature and 2 have fertilized normally through icsi. We are chuffed that there are two to freeze for a fet once my polyp has been removed

Assisted Oocyte Activation
Has anyone had this along with their ICSI procedure? Got not so great news today at our followup.... they think even with Icsi the fertilisation might be low so they are adding this procedure called assisted oocyte activation. I'm grateful but petrified... our clinic only knows of 2 cases in the UK

Failed ICSI
Today I got a negative result. Don’t know how I feel about my 2nd attempt as I don’t want it to fail and then be game over for me. Iv had no bleeding out anything during this cycle. Has anyone else had 0 bleeding or anything and still get a negative?

Newbie saying hello
Hi all. Well I've never used a forum before but thought I'd give it a shot (used to those now lol). We are on our first round of icsi and I'm on day 13 of stimming with menopor. We have a scan later today to check follicles as they are growing slowly and on Friday they saw what they think is a polyp

What do clinics offer after pregnant from IVF? Meds and tests etc
Hi all After our positive test on Saturday after our ICSI cycle I'm still overjoyed but the anxiety and worry has firmly kicked in! My clinic stops pessaries after the 2ww so I'm on no medication and also I haven't been offered any blood tests or anything to confirm the result. My first scan is not booked

ICSI and natural conception
Hello, had our appointment in Shrewsbury last week where they went through our results and told us our only option is ICSI. I have a couple questions I was hoping someone can help with: 1. Has anyone had ICSI before that can reassure me?? 2. Can we still conceive naturally with a semen analysis of

Positive IVF/ICSI stories please
So ladies I’m 5pt3dt x 2 and would very much like a positivity boost (probably not the only one). I know most people once they get their miracles come away from here but I’m hoping there are still a few. So I was thinking: How long TTC What were the issues (mine are unexplained) IVF/ICSI cycle # What

Hello Ladies!
Morning all! Since our failed ICSI last july I've been keeping busy & still reading all the ups & downs of all of you on here. So we've managed to save up enough money again to have a second fresh cycle. I'm due my day 0 scan today. I feel a lot more positive than last time, maybe because I know what's

Feeling vulnerable after egg collection
So I had my egg collection this morning and although 9 were harvested, only 4 maybe 5 were good enough to fertilise and with ICSI only about 70% to make it to blastocyte stage. I am not complaining - I know there are so many ladies who don’t get this far and I am grateful, but I have had 1 failed fresh

Low amh & mild ivf/icsi
I was wondering if anyone out there with low amh has successfully tried mild ivf and/or iCSI. Or can shed some light on the process? We had it first failed cycle this summer and are now looking at private clinics. We had consultation this week and were recommended mild ivf. I didn't respond well to first

BFP to a BFN in <24 hours... gutted!💔
Hi ladies Just thought I would update you that even though I had BFP’s for the four days leading up to my OTD unfortunately the spotting ended up being AF/early miscarriage! This morning I had my blood test which has come back today with only 4% hcg! Another failed ICSI for my DH and I, we are absolutely

What next?
just had our second follow up appt after failed ICSI. Had blood tests for immune, chromosome, thyroid and everything fine. They didn't test amh and apparently that's £66. Wanted to know what our chances are of natural conception given am 41. Consultant touched on doner eggs and clinics in Barcelona and
