Giving men more responsibility
We are just about to embark on our second round of ICSI next week. I am feeling ok about it, but I've been thinking about how it seems ridiculous that there doesn't seem to be a readily available method to improve sperm quality when there is no much for for eggs. I have felt throughout this experience

Overwhelmed and angry
Sorry this is a bit of a rant, I just need to get it out! We recently had our follow up after second failed icsi cycle. First cycle wasn't good, day 5 transfer but none at blastocyst stage and needed assisted hatching. Told it could indicate egg quality issue or that I didnt respond well to the drug.

Advice following miscarriage
Good morning lovely ladies, Thank you so much for all your support and comments following my miscarriage earlier this week. We've had lots of tears but lots of talking and we've been trying to have fun and laugh despite our very sad news. I am determined not to let this get me down. I have unfortunately

Talk about a mixture of emotions over the space of a week!! Anyway dh has low sc (4mil) so I was disappointed as to my low number

So...Got The Official Go Ahead For Doner Treatment π
So today access fertility phoned to say they have approved us for the 3 cycle DE package at our chosen clinic π I also had an email last night from the clinic to say they have the results of the sperm comet test, of which has shown that hubby has higher than average fragmentation. It was 28% fragmented

Hi, just home from egg collection and they managed to get 15. Just need to keep positive they will do well overnight. They decided to do icsi. An afternoon in bed for me now. Feeling a bit woozy and sicky. Take care everyone! xxx

Just a down day!
I'm becoming increasingly reliant on this great forum for support from people who truly understand each other and am so grateful to be a part of it. I'm still only just over a week in to my first cycle of ICSI and have been feeling pretty positive trying to relax and eat more healthily, then I get the

1st IVF stimming day 5
Hi everyone, Its my first IVF cycle, i and hubby will be doing icsi & micro tese because hubby is azoospermic. I was put on gonal f 225iu for 4 days and went for a scan, the doctor said my follicles are very very small so she changed my meds to menopur 450iu. Menopur gave me a terrible headache and

Alcohol!
I just wanted to know what you girls think about drinking while ttc?! I've always enjoyed a glass of wine or two (especially with a roast dinner!) and although I cut back lots while we've been ttc, I didn't give it up altogether as I wanted to maintain some of my life throughout this difficult journey

Scared.ππ
Hi I'm new to this forum. I have started my treatment in June 2017. My husband I used icsi. Today is my 13th day after embryo transfer. Tomorrow is the big day for testing. But I have started bleeding. Don't know if this is a good thing.

Failed ET post consultation-to book or not to book?
Hi everyone. Just wanted to know your thoughts on whether I should request for a follow up consultation after our failed ET in July. DH can't be bothered & feels it's pointless to go as we already knew the odds were against us because of my age & low AMH. However our journey was so smooth, didn't need

Hi all, I just wanted to introduce myself as I have spent the last two years trawling forums for pregnancy symptoms without ever having the guts to join one myself so thought it was about time! I'm sure so many of you will understand the long, painful, frustrating journey I am on so thought it would

Hello Long time no "see"!
Hello lovely ladies! So it's been over a year since my first failed ICSI. Some will remember me, most wont π. My history is that we concieved our son Joseph π, with no apparent issues, he is now 4.5, I've had 1x miscarriage 3yrs ago & since then no joy in conceiving. The issue is with my husbands

Egg collection! β€οΈ
So after alot of waiting and anxiety I had my egg collection today :) 11 collected, 9 of which where mature and good enough for ICSI. So we have 9 potential little transfer candidates. Fingers crossed we have a good selection left that progress nicely, will hear more in the next couple of days... Hopefully

Review tomorrow
Hi ladies, hoping for some help with questions to ask at our review tomorrow. We had a chemical pregnancy in April which was our first icsi cycle. Dh has a low sc, which was originally why we were referred for icsi. Though at ec I only had 3 eggs, 2 of which fertilised and had 2et on day 3. I want to
