A Baby Girl...at last

MY Baby Girl was born on 27.09.17 weighing 4lbs4oz She was born at 35wks.

> Following my result from my low PAPP-A levels it appears they were right; there were some growth concerns from 30wks onwards and I was monitored closely by consultant . At 34 wks I was given steroid injections to mature her lungs. At 34+6 wks my consultant saw reduction of fluid around baby and didn't want to take further chances. So he ordered me to be induced.

> Baby girl was born super fast. Labour started at 7pm she was born 10.15pm without any complications. She was 35+0 wks

> She didn't need incubator nor help with feeding or breathing. She stayed on ward with me and passed all her checks with flying colours. Her temperature stayed up as did her 3 blood sugar tests. In fact she had the best blood sugar score n the whole ward.

> We came home after 4 days in hospital once they were happy with her feeding.

> Needless to say we are over the moon and so grateful for the help of ICSI in order to make this happen.

She's perfect

Yeah I play her Ibiza Chilled tunes as we were on holiday in Ibiza when I was 16 wks weeks and she kicked there for first time so I like to think it brings back good vibes for her xx
