Advice wanted for post tube removal (salpingectomy) IVF
Me and my husband have been told we need IVF with ICSI however before this, I need to have an operation to see if my Fallopian tubes are patent / damaged if they are damaged then they're going to take them out. I wondered if anyone knew how long clinics tend to make you wait before they will start ivf

Failed ICSI BFN
Writing this with a heavy heart and big fat tears. BFN. All the time, energy, pain, emotions for nothing. Feel numb and then great sadness. My heart is broken and breaks again every time I see my OH upset. It breaks again every time I thinks about the embie that didn’t make it. When does the pain get

💔💔💔💔 I want our baby back
I don't know where to turn. I tried googling miscarriage forums but not felt safe so I've turned here because I know the great support offered. As most of you know we had a failed icsi cycle in February, it was tough but it was ok. My next period was late and a lot of people said it was normal due

NHS eligibility
Hi All I have this morning had a telephone call with my consultant (who we have been to privately whilst waiting for our first NHS appointment, so that we can try and reduce investigations needed). He said that once we get a decent sample from my husband, he would be happy to proceed with ICSI. To date

BMI too high?
Hi All, My bmi is 29.5, and with one failed round of icsi in January, we are attempting our second round in July. During our follow up meeting with the consultant, he advised that it may help our chances if my bmi was reduced. So.... have any of you ladies lost weight for ivf, if so which plans did you

Egg Quality - Products to avoid?
So we had our follow up last night for our second failed icsi cycle. My consultant went through changes and improvements for our next fresh cycle. It came up about day to day things I should avoid which can affect egg quality, such as perfumes, hairspray, strong smelling beauty products etc.... Has anyone

Is there any hope?
So today we had our follow up appointment after another failed round of IVF with ICSI. Previously we'd been diagnosed with unexplained infertility. After our 1st and only NHS round failed we had further tests and found my husband had high DNA fragmentation. He saw a specialist and we both made massive

6 ampoules of sperm frozen...any good?
We’re due for our first cycle of ICSI soon and my husband has had some sperm frozen as a safety batch. Got a letter that said they’ve frozen 6 ampoules...no other info! Has anyone got any idea if this is good? Not sure why EVERYTHING has to be a riddle.

Anyone pay for their own treatment?
OH literally has no money left after we both jointly paid for 2 rounds of ICSI and meds which both failed. The only option we have is donor eggs in Cyprus. Hoping it works but i will have to pay for it myself out of my savings. Anyone had to bite the bullet and pay for their own cycle as OH skint? X

I had a 3dt with 2 embies but was told they were all not very good quality, fragmented and irregular. Just wanted some feed back regardeing research that indicates high stimulation results

Frozen Sperm - IVF or ICSI?
Hello, I have been through one round of IVF using donor sperm and although 13 eggs were collected, none fertilised. I was devastated. At egg collection I was told that it would be overkill to use ICSI but in hind site it makes sense that it was the wrong advise. Surely frozen sperm would not be as strong

Small lump on right breast near cleavage?
Hello, I'm 10 weeks pregnant via icsi and stopped taking progesterone pessaries about 5 days ago. I've discovered a small hard lump on my right breast near my cleavage which feels the size of maybe half a pea. I can feel it more when I'm lying on my left side and I feel the inner side of my right breast

Fourth ICSI 7DPT & terrified
Hi everyone, I’ve been on here a while now but this is my first post. I find it really reassuring hearing from others on the same journey. DH and I have had 4 rounds of ICSI. The 1st fresh transfer resulted in a BFN, we had 2 FET for our 2nd cycle which resulted in a BFP but I MC at 10 wks. Our 3rd FET

Ivf abroad vs uk
So today is one of those days you sit around looking at ivf prices and wondering how your going to find the money to afford it. Just had a look online and I’m astounded at the price difference. For e.g. Ivf ICSI €1600 Meds for ivf ICSI €250-750 Embryo glue €75 Does anyone know what we are paying
