Icsi

Hi guys me and my husband have just been referred for ivf (Isci) at the priory we’re awaiting our first appointment. I feel so nervous already as it’s our only go in the nhs I don’t know anything about appointments etc but just been told they’ll be in touch within two weeks. Can anyone give us any advice plz or info on how to prepare? Thankyou all xx

Hey is it the priory in Birmingham? The first appointment will be going through what ivf is and what each step it, you may have some tests and you will receive a counselling sessions to talk through all your thoughts and feelings! It seems a lot to deal with at first but once you start the process you’ll be pro and know what’s happening step by step! Wishing you all the luck in the world xx

I can’t remember exactly as we were referred in 2016 but think it was about a month before we saw the consultant. They were fantastic and I fully recommend them!! We had lots more tests once there and a break from treatment which is why it’s taken us so long but my first full cycle started in nov 17 and we are now 20 weeks pregnant!! So fingers crossed for you xx
