Hi ladies, i didn't want to post this but its driving me mad. I had our first and only nhs icsi cycle but unfortunately this ended in miscarriage at 5 1/2 weeks.
My stomach is really bloated, did anyone experience this or know of why this is. The miscarriage was natural and i have tested since and this shows as a negative.
Part of me thinks it's the process of my body calming down from all the meds and process?

Hi Lauren3189, so sorry to hear of your miscarriage. That’s really a rough thing to go through after all this treatment. I also had a miscarriage almost 2 weeks ago, first time IVF and was 5 weeks too. I bled for 8 days, not heavy all the time but once I stopped I stopped being bloated. Also started to follow an anti inflammatory diet to help with that too. I think it’s just the body settling down and I feel back to my old self. Am actually ovulating again as tested this morning for that which is a big relief. I’m sure your clinic or perhaps Diane on here could advise you more on what steps to take to get over this physically, but I and other ladies are here if you want to talk about the emotional side of things. Sending love xx
thank you, i must say i am concerned about having a period, I worry it won't return! All my bleeding has stopped and the test was negative but my body doesn;t seem to want to get back to normal xx
