Second fresh ICSI cycle...any tips?
Hi all! So...we’re about to start our 2nd fresh ICSI cycle and was wondering if anyone has any words of wisdom? Our first one we only got one embryo but the dr said it was excellent so we were just unfortunate that it didn’t stick (we had embryo glue too 😖) We didn’t get any to freeze so using access

Can I exercise???
We are about to start our first round of icsi next month and I keep forgetting to ask the staff about exercise. I go to the gym a 3x week doing personal training which is a mix of cardio and weights. I love the gym as it’s been my destress during this time. When I start treatment should I cut it out

I am on my first cycle ICSI short protocol. Started Menopur injections Saturday. Tonight is night 4. They are getting more painful as the nights go on. First scan is tomorrow. I have cetrotide to be introduced at some point. Is anyone else on the same meds? I know everyone else is different but how

Day 5 transfer
I had 12 fertilised eggs on day 3, but today, when I went to hospital for day 5 transfer, only 1 of them managed to develop into a blastocyst. I was quite surprised as usually 30% could grow into blastocyst. Now, the questions are: 1. Are ICSI embryos less likely to become blastocyst? 2. If an embryo

Here we go again....
So here I am sat nervously in the waiting room of the clinic ready to start my first (and last...!) private round of ICSI after a successful NHS frozen round 3 years ago. We were extremely lucky to have two good enough to go in the freezer. I am having a scratch today with my frozen blasto transfer booked

Hi All, I’m in a quandary and need some help! Some history on my issues… Long term endo, 5 laparoscopys, 3 ICSI IVF cycles (1 wonderful Son) 1 Caesarean Section. 15 years of Endo hell and painful ovulation and periods. I’m 43 and I think I’m at the end of my fertility journey, we can’t afford anymore

Result is I am now 12 weeks 2days pregnant with a wee stubborn baby who refused to play for the sonographer!! I have been bleeding since 10 weeks with this pregnancy but they found 2

Day 6 injection - Short Cycle
Hi guys , so I’m on day 6 and let’s just say the injections haven’t got any easier . I’m really hoping this does work as I won’t be able to do this again for at least another year Was just thinking actually my husband is the one with an issue ( extremely low mobility) but we weren’t offered an option

Birthdays/Getting older - why does this feel so bad?
Hi All, Just wanted to get some advice from you lovely people. I've been TTC for between 18months and 2 years. Found out in March we needed ICSI due to hubbys low count but I also have PCOS (double whammy of sub fertility). When we first saw the GP I think she was trying to help and said we were 'Lucky
