ICSI success
Never thought we'd get this far, but goes to show it is possible! 8 months pregnant now, and I'm so lucky and grateful. Just 2 frozen blastos from a mega batch egg collection. The first failed, and the second one took. Maybe my polyp removal helped, or maybe it was just a stronger egg, who knows. The

Embryo transfer cancelled at GRI - What happens next?
I am wondering if any else who has attended the glasgow royal infirmary has had their embryo transfer cancelled and what happened next? I was on a short protocol icsi but got cancelled at the transfer stage due to thin uterus lining, luckily I got 7 embryos frozen. We were told at the time I'd need to

To Endo Scratch or Not?
Hello lovely ladies, I'm a long time lurker, but infrequent poster. I get so much information and value from all of your conversations, so thank you! Earlier this year I went through my first round of ICSI. We were fortunate to get 1 embryo for a day 2 transfer, but sadly this did not take. Last week

Looking to hear other peopleās stories. Just starting my 3rd cycle (2nd frozen). Not taken any time off work and really struggled emotionally. Iāve just today got a sick line for work and feel really guilty about it!!!! Wondered how others managed this

Yay happy to report that I had 10 eggs collected this morning. We are using donor sperm and this defrosted well and looks good so we are having ivf rather than ICSI. We paid for Multicycle ICSI via access fertility- anyone know if weāll get a refund ? Feeling good and looking forward to a day on the

Fertility treatment abroad or uk??
Hi everyone.. so Iām new on here and desperately looking for some advice. Iāve just been diagnosed with Endometriosis and we have been told we need to go through ICSI due to partners problems as well. We were told we have to self fund which was pretty crushing to start with and is a struggle to fund.

They were able to do ICSI on all of them and 5 fertilised. Just had a call today to say 3 are good quality, 1 average and

ICSI - what happens for the man?!
Hi, Thanks to lovely people on the forum I started reading 'Get a Life' and they keep talking about the importance of the man feeling comfortable giving a sample. My OH has low count and as freezing kills up to 50% of the swimmers will he be able to use a frozen sample or will he have to give a fresh

I have One Kidney...
I am 45 years old and only have one kidney. My Right kidney was removed due to a birth defect when I was 2 months old. I was very sick as a child, on daily Septra until about age 13 (off and on). I had chronic kidney and bladder infections. For some reason at around age 13 I was just fine....not sick
