Rubella vaccinations
Hi all, I’ve now got my pre-screening appointment through for our ICSI treatment. The letter said I’ve to bring results of my last smear (ensuring it was within the last 3 years, which it is) and also evidence of 2 rubella vaccinations. I’ve got a copy of my vaccination history from the GP but it looks

Third round of IVF-will it ever work??!!
Hi all-I am currently in my 2ww of my 3rd round of IVF. This time we had 2 frozen blastocysts implanted. Before the IVF we also had 3 rounds of IUI. No positive tests ever! Feeling really deflated and negative and wondering if it will ever work out? I have mild to moderate endometriosis and don’t ovulate

Ivf period nightmare
We have been so excited after our last appointment with our consultant. We were told that finally we could start our first IVF cycle. I use an app to track my period and so when the consultant asked for the dates of my last period I happily got up the app. The consultant explained we would need to meet

BFN one day before OTD
I couldn’t hold back any longer. This is my second icsi cycle and I’m 12dp5dy today with OTD tomorrow. I know that if I had any kind of viable pregnancy then my hcg should really be detected by the HPT given to us from the clinic. Unfortunately it was a BFN. It’s just devastating and I want to be able

Advice about ICSI abroad
I'm 41. My NHS attempt failed 😓. I'm running out of time and need to focus on what next. I am looking for advice about going abroad, how does it work for check ups, where to start looking, is it safe (Husband has concerns) is it really cheaper? ANY advice at all or recommendations (PM me). Thanks xx

Will they do an Embryo Transfer if you have mild OHSS?
I had my EC collection yesterday which resulted in 12 eggs. Been told this morning that 9 were suitable for ICSI and 6 have fertilised! It’s early days after the procedure but I expected to feel worse due to my high risk hyperstimulation. I’ve been told that the embryos may have to be frozen, but on

Loosing Hope on First IVF Round
Hi All. I feel like I need some support today and everyone here has been great in the past. I had my egg collection yesterday and got 14 mature eggs which all fertilised using ICSI. I was really pleased with outcome and felt like we had a good shot. The embryologist called this morning and we lost 10

Pregnancy test lines? Help!
Ok, so today is otd I had a 3 day transfer last Saturday after our first round of ICSI. I dropped the first test in the loo (top test) so we’ll call this the control (and call me an clumsy idiot)! The second test was the one that I actually managed to use. It immediately showed a negative result and

BFN
Not quite sure how I’m feeling yet, don’t think it’s fully sunk in. Somehow this BFP is so elusive and feels like something we will never have. But then another part of me can’t understand why, we found out we had a major blocker that was our eggs and sperm just don’t seem to ‘lock’ together so trying

Omega 3 supplement advice please 🤗
Hi ladies. Hope you all are doing well ❤️ I was looking into Omega 3 supplements and was hoping to start it before my next icsi cycle starting the end of November. Can anybody that has used it shed some light on how much to take and if you felt it beneficial. Any advice or info would be much appreciated

All frozen due to risk of ohss. Been told today 10 eggs have fertilised, which is great, still a bit sore from egg collection but

First cycle of Ivf...when is it okay to have sex?
Hello this is my first post! I’m having my embryo transfer on Saturday, (fingers crossed) for my first cycle of icsi. I’ve just read lots of different views on when you can and can’t have sex during the process, I obviously will go with whatever is safest as wouldn’t want to risk anything (I had a

Good London clinic for over 40?!
Hi, firstly I don’t know if we are allowed to discuss individual clinics on here- but I’m going to ask anyway! I’ve had 3 failed rounds of ivf and icsi at guys over the last few years... I took a year out as it all became too much and I am now 40 and want to give it one more shot.. we would like to change

Now we have a reason
We had the transfer yesterday, and everything went smoothly. We also got the chance to speak with the embryologist more about why we had complete failed fertilisation on 12 eggs we tried conventional IVF with. They aren't 100% but they think it's something to do with the 'locking' between the egg and
