Hello All I was hoping to get some guidance and thoughts please? This is my first time posting so please bear with me. Hubby and I are hoping to start treatment in August / September (round 6 of ICSi). However, I have had a specialist gynaecology appointment for tailbone pain which appears to coming

the lost embryo
And so.. We are out. 2nd icsi failed. No embryos left. Back to square 1. I was wondering if anyone has ever thought what happens to that transferred embryo that never attaches? When do we lose it? Sometime along the pessary? Or is it with the withdrawal bleed that follows the failed cycle? The small

Hi guys, I’m impatiently on day 4 of my 2WW, just the one 2B fighter from my second ICSI on long protocol. 🙏🏻🙏🏻 Really feeling like it’s my last chance 😭 Struggling with the 2WW the heat and the stress of the result and now I’ve gone down a rabbit hole of looking at everything I use… any suggestions

Second ICSI Cycle - Feeling v stressed
Hello All, I am due to start my second round of ICSI tonight with a change in protocol. I am usually pretty laid back and relaxed, but I am feeling very worked up and anxious since I got the go ahead from baseline scan yesterday. I think it’s not helping that OH went away in a golf night last night

am I too old?
I’m 39 and having to have ivf with a donor as my partner has azoospermia. We’ve had two rounds which didn’t go very well at all, the first 7 eggs retrieved with 5 mature. All fertilised with icsi but only 1 made it to blastocyst and was only a 3bc and didn’t take. My second round was pretty disastrous

50% fertilization with ICSI
Feeling so gutted. Just had an egg retrieval Saturday AM. 17 collected, 13 mature, only 7 fertilized with ICSI. Not super hopeful we will end up with too many blasts for freezing, and then they’re getting shipped for testing. I’ve had 3 failed transfers previously so the odds are just looking so slim

ICSI - loss of cramps/ pregnancy feelings 7dp. Looking for hope :(
From day 1-5 post transfer I had been feeling lots of pelvic activity.. since day 6 post transfer they stopped. This is our 5th transfer (I’ve done 5 egg collections) and our first ever perfect Blast and as well as an average quality Blast we transferred 29th June. After 3 rounds of not getting past

Is 6 eggs enough?
I had my egg collection today and feel so deflated. On my first round of IVF I got 9 eggs, 5 fertilised, 3 made it to day 5 blastocyst, 1 was transferred and nothing survived to be frozen. This time they gave me a higher dose of stims hoping to get more eggs but I only got 6, last time I got 9. This

Zero Fertilisation/DOR - questions to ask at review?
Hi, hoping your collective mind could help? I've just finished my first IVF cycle using a long protocol and ICSI which resulted in 3 eggs of which none fertilised and I was hoping you might be able to suggest some questions I should ask at the review meeting? For a bit of history...my husband has 1%

6 weeks pregnant and covid positive 😢
Hi all, I am 6 weeks pregnant from our second round of ICSI. Today I tested positive for covid, I feel ill with a high temperature. I will call my clinic in the morning, but I suppose I'm looking for reassurance. I've been so scared of this going wrong and this is just topping it off, spent the evening

3th cycle IVF, low reserve and poor responding
Hi ladies, I just wanted to share my IVF journey so far and ask for some other experiences. I am 37 with low amh. My first cycle was on elonva and then gonal F added. I had 4 eggs collected, non fertilised. It was a complete shock to us. We had been trying for 1 year and experienced 1 chemical pregnancy

AMH wobbles ....
I've seen a few posts about this, so sorry to repeat. Just returned from clinic with my OH. He has Azoospermia so just ruled out he doesn't have chromosomal abnormalities, which was a relief and now on the path towards ICSI. One thing I wasn't expecting was a slightly lower AMH level than average. I'm

DE 4TH TRANSFER DONE
Hi ladies I'm abroad and at 42 done a DE transfer with 3 embryos transfered cause of my age. Had to be ICSI as husband has really low sperm count. Now I have done the transfer I'm so scared as iv read so many bad stories about woman over 42 having live births. Anyone this age had healthy pregnancy?

To ERA (Emma and Alice) or not to ERA?
We were fortunate enough to get 10 frozen blasts this egg retrieval and I’m over the moon. They aren’t tested so no idea how many “normal” or “abnormal” but we decided to take our chances considering our ages etc. The plan was to have afresh transfer but due to a polyp developing (which I will have

Waiting for the wait..
Hi everyone, From what I've read so far, a lot of people on the forum are a long way ahead of me and my husband so I'm hoping you can help with some tips for managing the wait to start treatment. Unfortunately, husband has azoospermia. We found out about 8 weeks ago after a year of trying. We waited

Failed first ICSI cycle
Hello. I’m new to this. I’ve had a rubbish experience with my clinic in Bristol and was wondering if anyone has a recommendation for a clinic with supportive practitioners with good communication? I’m over 40 and have been floored by the failure of my first cycle and considering a change in clinic.
