Newbie
Hi everyone. I’m new to this forum. We’ve been ttc for 13 months now (I’m nearly 39, OH is 40) and have been told we should have icsi due to poor motility. We’ve decided to go with self funded treatment as the wait for NHS is unbearably long. Does anyone have any experience with GCRM in Glasgow as that

Embryo quality ivf ICSI
Hi all I was wondering if anyone had issues with embryo quality? We’ve always been told our infertility is “unexplained” up until we recently changed consultants. She thinks our issue is embryo quality We are now taking Impryl on her advice but wondering what other people have done in this situation

Sadly this cycle only yielded 1 good embryo (4ab) out of 13 eggs. 12 mature, 10 fertilised but only 1 made it to transfer. I actually had a worse cycle despite taking every single supplement this time. Last time taking nothing I had 3 to freeze. The clinic are ringing me this morning. There's one more

3-day embryo transfer success stories - double transfer
Hello everyone, I'm looking for some lovely ladies to provide some (any) success stories I can use to get me through the 2ww. I had my first embryo transfer yesterday on day 3 (a top-quality 6 cell and a slightly fragmented 5 cell - the embryologist described them as top quality and average/slightly

Medication change?! Bemfola ICSI IVF
Consultant has said if we go ahead with ICSI IVF round 3, the only thing we can change is meds. On the highest dose last cycle so that will stay the same but would change to Bemfola Has anyone taken this instead or switched to this after failed cycles?

EC day... Biggest rollercoaster ever!
So I got 13 eggs this morning (10 predicted). Ended up with 12 mature. However OH sperm count has gone from 47 million in May to just 13.2 today, meaning 3.3millon per ml. Told us there wasn't enough sperm to do imsi. They told us although we could use our frozen back up samples, this could compromise

Anyone with dna fragmentation actually give birth and conceive?
My hubby has poor motility and dna fragmentation and I have read about ICSI macs and picsi and micro tesa but never read stories of people actually conceiving with dna fragmentation. Anyone have a success story and if so what did you do?

Any success story on the first try of ICSI?
Hey ladies. Anyone had a success on the first ever try on ICSI? Getting crazy :( it’s so hard to wait day 5 for transfer and we have only 3 top quality embryos for day 3 but now I’m afraid that they can’t go on day 5 :( feel just a little bit scared and emotional :(

Egg collection results - Ladies please help!
Ladies, I need some help reassurance as I’m driving myself a little crazy with nerves. I had my egg collection yesterday, 11 eggs were collected out of which 8 were injected with ICSI and 4 have fertilised. Is that normal? Shouldn’t I have had more fertilise? I’d love to say I’m happy but feel nervous

How to prevent OHSS
Hi ladies, I am so so pleased to say that we have been given our dates for our next round of icsi, I'm on the pill now and baseline scan next month! I am so relieved to be able to have another go at having our family, although I am petrified that the same will happen again. I'm so scared it will be

Success with icsi - low sperm count/morph/motility?
I am looking to hear about any success stories with icsi when OH has low count/morph/motility. I am 40 and realistic about my chances. We already have a naturally conceived 5year old. We've been trying for 3 1/2 years and are now 3 weeks in to treatment. As far as we have been told, my results have come

Failed IVF - What next?
Hi all, this is my first post, I apologise for it being so long, I have only just plucked up the courage to do this...I have just joined today. I guess I'm looking for some support and maybe some suggestions/advice from others who may be in my situation, and perhaps also to be able to support others

Hot flushes and night sweats
Hi all, I’m 35 and have very low AMH. I had an ICSI cycle cancelled before egg collection earlier this year because I didn’t respond to the medications. We’re having a break until the new year when we’re hoping to go for a private cycle, but recently I’ve been having hot flushes and night sweats. I

Advice please.... What a difference 2 years makes
2 years ago we had just had our 2nd failed ICSI treatment for “unexplained fertility” I asked for an AMH as my clinic never did it initially. In 2017 my AMH was 25.55 which I’m told is good/high fertility potential and my antral follicle count was 22 (apparently) Even with those figures and the highest

Conception with DNA Fragmentation - ICSI max and IMSI
My husband and I have tried ICSI and embryos arrested on day 3 most likely due to husbands poor sperm dna - we have had a dna fragmentation test. Has anyone conceived despite having dna Fragmentation? If so how and what method worked for you? I have booked next cycle IMSI macs but haven’t actually

Positive News- for once 🤪
So my husband went to give a sample yesterday incase we need a back up sample on Egg Collection day. He has had two sample tests and because the results were worse the second time, they said it’s best to freeze some incase it gets even worse. So today we found it that he gave “the perfect sample for
