So day 1 of icsi with AOA 14 collected 10 injected & 7 fertilised. Anxiously await 2moros call. (Sperm DNA fragmentation infertility)

Thank you yes all positive. In past it's day 3 tho that we get weird cell division so tense to hear fate this time 🤞

Thinking of you as this is our problem also, everything stops growing on day 3. Did u opt forday 3 transfer or waiting for day 5?

We had Icsi but now trying Icsi macs

Eeeek good luck! I think we are a couple of days behind you - Donor EC tomorrow and husbands "contribution" tomorrow (Sperm DNA fragmentation issues here too), then ICSI! Sending positive vibes xx

I ask as never sure if just husbands sperm the issue or egg quality top so wouldn't know if this failed if it's donar egg or sperm need. Just keeping everything that this works . Horrible waiting game isn't it. Googled my life off lol

I have a very low AMH for my age so the issue is I don't have many eggs left (no idea if they are good or bad quality, but I had 3 MCs, all conceived naturally, so we didn't want to take any more chances really) so we have gone for donor eggs. Crossing my fingers for us both and will keep you posted! xx

Good luck. We are doing AOA on our next cycle in January to try and improve egg quality - not seem many posts about it. Good luck for tomorrow’s call, hope it’s good news xxx

Have you read the book "It starts with the egg"? It mentions how important diet is in the 90 days it takes for the egg to develop. Also, vitamin supplements help. If you starting in Jan you might have time to influence quality now. Good luck ☘

Yes I have that book! I'm post EC now awaiting hopeful transfer so not much can do then prey good result. We had already added impryl and healthy eating to try assist x

Just to update all 8 embryos have been developing well all top grade 1 or 2 between 6-9 cells. just need 2 keep everything crossed again for transfer Monday. Thank you for all ur supporting comments x

All sounding positive! We tend to experience similar difficulties; good number of eggs; good fertilisation - then issues with development after day 3. No real explanation so after 4 fresh failed cycles it’s so difficult to decide whether to just keep going or give up and move to DE. Have only recently heard about AOA. Fingers crossed it does the trick for you and that your embies keep developing well lovely 🤞 xxx

Thanks, so far changing to ICSI & AOA have made the difference. As hubby had sperm fragmentation wouldn't really know if DS or DE or both required! Hopefully won't need to go that route just prey nothing changes before Monday 🤞 x
