Another BFN, When to give up?
Hello all, I’m 40 years old and have now had 4 rounds of IVF/ICSI. Despite always producing a good number of eggs for my age (42 in total over 4 cycles) we’ve only had 4 transfers with 3 failing to implant and the only 1 that worked ended in a MMC at 9 weeks. I’m 8dp5dt (4th transfer) and I’ve tested

No period after ovulation!
Hi all, TIA for reading and super grateful if anyone can help! I had my 2nd failed icsi cycle in march followed by the usual post cycle bleed, then tracked my ovulation the next month which showed I didn’t ovulate until day 23 but then started my period on day 29 (?!?!). This month I’ve been tracking

Sensitive: Pregnant at 44—own egg, frozen 1 year ago
So, I got a positive pregnancy test this week at 12dp5dt FET. I just turned 44, and the blastocyst was frozen a few days before I turned 43. So I was technically 42 at the time of egg collection, but barely. I'm aware that my risk for this pregnancy is very high. Maybe even like a coin flip. I've been

5th BFN 😭😭 what next
Morning everyone. Sorry I'm not coming with better news. It's 10dp5dt and I've been spotting for 24 hours and full period arrived this morning. First response shows negative. I haven't even cried. I just expect it now. Would love some guidance on any next steps so I've set out a brief overview of my

8 donor eggs thawed but not looking hopeful
Last cycle we had 9 DN, 5 thawed and only 1 made it to 5 days and was transferred, unfortunately, a BFN. This time we were more hopeful as had a different donor, but got a call yesterday to say the DH sperms motility when thawed was not good and things were not looking good. They went ahead and used

Donor embryo, eggs or OE? 🤔
I’m 43. AMH 9.8, cycled in Nov 22 with OE. 8 eggs, 8 fertilised. 2 blastocysts not PGTA. I have transferred both one fresh, one frozen and both BFN. My FS says I’ve got 5-10% change of a pregnancy with OE but 80% with DE. We use donor sperm due to male factor. What would you do??? My husband

Your experiences at Kings Fertility London
I had an initial assessment at Kings Fertility London they recommended ICSI because of male factor infertility. Have decided to go ahead it but not 100% sure I want to do it with Kings. If anyone has used them before, could you send me a PM about your experience? I'm particularly interested in knowing

PGT-A experiences?
Hi all, I hope everyone is doing ok. After 7 months me and my partner have just finished a three cycle ICSI package, we now have 15 embryos of varying grades frozen and decided to get PGT-A testing done on all 15 😬. I am 40 in a couple of months and because of my age I’m worried about the number of

Feeling awful and not coping!
Hello all, I'm currently in my two week wait for our 9th embryo transfer. Our first cycle was successful in 2017 with our son. Since 2019 we've been trying for a sibling using DE ICSI. Cycles 4-8 we're with a different donor to our son and we had 2 biochemicals , 1 negative and 2 early miscarriages.

13 eggs - 0 fertilisation with ICSI 😔
Round two…over, just like that. Any similar experiences? What investigations did you do next and how did you turn it around? Clinic will monitor 4 eggs 1 more day incase of miracle, but not looking likely as eggs are ‘grainy’? 😔 I have endometriosis, only 4 eggs of the 13 were mature and husbands sperm

Anyone else scared this will push them apart?
Hi everyone, first time poster, long time reader of all your stories which have helped me in so many ways. I’m 33, partner is 38. OH had to have TESE to extract which was successful (he already has a son from previous which was natural), and on paper other than my thyroid issue (got that under control

17dp5dt only 1-2 weeks CB
Anybody had a similar experience? I am trying to stay positive but last time we had a bfp was super strong and even had 3+ on a digital ended in a MMC! This is our 3rd fresh ICSI cycle with none to freeze again 😞 This time tests are still very obviously positive but not strong at all! Decided

Can you use IUI for low sperm motility?
Hi, My partner has low sperm motility. We found this out by getting tested at an IVF clinic. They instantly offered us IVF. We have had 2 failed rounds. Well one was an early misscarraige. I was wondering if anyone has had IUI for low sperm motility. Are the IVF clinics trying to get as much money as

Self funding advice
Hi everyone looking for advice again.Unfortunately my 4th transfer hasn't worked didn't make it to 2 weeks as often happens. I'm trying to plan next steps to ease the pain slightly. I'm 42 and have had 2 full cycles 1st one didn't do so well with IVF second much better fertilisation rate with ICSI.

Low Blastocyst rate
Hi there I just wondered if anyone has had similar experience in getting low blastocyst rates in IVF ? Background, age 36 (started IVF age 35) with good AMH levels etc and diagnosed as unexplained infertility. I have now done three egg collections and have always managed to get a decent amount of
