3-day embryo transfer success stories - double transfer

Hello everyone, I'm looking for some lovely ladies to provide some (any) success stories I can use to get me through the 2ww. I had my first embryo transfer yesterday on day 3 (a top-quality 6 cell and a slightly fragmented 5 cell - the embryologist described them as top quality and average/slightly behind). I am 33 and have been unexpectedly diagnosed with endometriosis and low ovarian reserve a few months ago (AMH 4.2). Our cycle only retrieved 3 eggs in total (from 5 large follicles) and 2 fertilized with ICSI so not allot to choose from and feeling pretty deflated!. I have read that it's usually 7/8 cell embryos that are successful on day 3? Has anyone had success with 6 and 5 cells. I'm not feeling particularly positive and trying to plan our next move if this doesn't work. Thanks for all your support! xxx

first of all, i'm sorry bcoz i still don't have success story to be shared with u but all i can say is sometimes success rate didn't come from the quality of the embryos.. no matter how many cells it has but from my own experience, i did frozen transfer 2 times.. 1st FET, one 8 cell embryo was put in me but failed. the 2nd FET, two embryos were transferred. one with 8 cell n another one with 9 cell.. but ended up with failure as well.. even my doctor told me she used to transfered one single embryo to one of her patients with very low quality but ended up with healthy pregnancy.. so, just pray n relax.. don't think too much about it..

Thanks for yur reply, I agree - sometimes it just doesn't make sense, the most unlikely embryos making it and those with the highest chance of success not! Good luck with your journey xx

Hi.

I had a 3 day transfer with three embryos and I am currently 12 weeks pregnant with one little baby. Don’t be down hearted because it can work. Also years ago they only did 3 day transfer. Try to relax. I know it’s hard but please try and be positive xxx

First cycle we had a 5 cell good-average quality and a 4 cell average quality embryo transferred. Got a bfp and one baby seen on 7 week scan, but sadly went on to mc.

Most recent cycle had a 7 cell and a 6 cell transferred, both below average quality and currently almost 14 weeks pregnant with 1 baby. No way of telling which one stuck and yours are back in the right place now honey so stay positive and believe it’s possible.. because it is! Wishing you lots of luck xx
