Expecting disappointment - 3/13 eggs fertilised with ICSI
Hi! This is my 4th fresh IVF cycle but this is the first time I’ve reached out for support. I have never had a successful pregnancy and I’m losing hope. In the first cycle, we had 5 eggs collected and one embryo transferred. In the second, we had 9 collected and again only one successful embryo. In the

Resting heart rate during 2WW…?
Does anyone monitor their RHR during their cycle at all? I’ve got an Apple Watch that does it automatically and I can’t help myself from checking it, as my RHR was one of my first “symptoms” in a previous pregnancy (it stayed high after ovulation, rather than dropping just before AF as it usually does

Icsi or IVf?
Hi can anyone help I'm about to start ivf as I'm 39 with no fertility issues and basically want a 3rd final baby.. it took 5 years to get to my son. He was a rainbow 🌈 baby after my miscarriage.. I'm scared its going to take long and as I'm getting older don't want to waste time. So is icsi better

Only 2 mature eggs collected - any hope?
Well EC yesterday was pretty depressing. We had 10 follicles (although 3 too small) so were expecting 6-7 eggs. We got 5 eggs, but only 2 are mature. 😔 we are doing ICSI so they are going to call this morning to let me know how they’re getting on. It’s our first cycle, and our consultant talked us out

Hi all Following our latest fresh IVF cycle we retrieved 5 eggs, of which only 2 fertilised via ICSI. I was disheartened by that, but we were very lucky that both made it to blastocyst stage. Our last IVF cycle resulted in the devastation of TFMR at 15 weeks, because our baby had serious chromosomal

7th ICSI failed 😞
Hi all lovely ladies, Hope all are well. This round I got 1 embryo with normal chromosome. 7 days after FET, beta was low only 10, next 2 days was up to 15. However on day 12 it was 2. A little bit of my background: round 1 with 3 transfer, all ended up BFN. Round 2, 1 FET with chemical pregnancy.

First day of medication for Round 1 of ICSI, husband tested positive for COVID
I've just started on norethisterone this morning. Five minutes later, my husband did a covid test for work that was positive. Does anyone know if clinics tend to cancel treatment if you get covid? Our forms asked us to declare if we'd had covid within the last 90 days so we're getting quite anxious.

My husband wants to end our fertility journey
Hi all, I’ve been on my journey for almost 7 years. Initially my husband and I were tagged as having unexplained infertility, through ICSI, 3 egg collections we transferred 7 embryos and suffered 3 miscarriages. Last year my husband found out that he has a balanced translocation of two of his chromosomes

Non-Obstructive Azoospermia (NOA)
Hi everyone. If anyone have an experience with Non-Obstructive Azoospermia (NOA) would you briefly share your story please. I am married from 8 years ago and wishing to have a baby but unfortunately my path to become a mom isn’t free from challenges (similar to you guys). Me and my husband are dealing

A happy update for anyone who is interested - Blastocysts achieved
Hi all Last Saturday I had 5 eggs retrieved and only 2 fertilised (a third did fertilise but abnormally so I don't count this one). I was quite gutted about all of this as had been expecting more eggs and it was the first time we tried ICSI too so was hoping for more fertilisation. Anyhow I was full

Low number of eggs retrieved, low fertilisation rate (low ovarian reserve)
Hi So we had our egg collection with our new clinic yesterday and I have to say I am so disappointed with our numbers. We had: 5 eggs collected, 4 mature, only 2 have fertilised (an extra one fertilised but in an "ambiguous" way so it is likely non-viable). I find the low numbers quite distressing

Going abroad but can only do a short protocol. Any experience with short protocol?
Hi everyone. After 4 failed transfers with top grade embryos, I’m planning to go abroad for embryo banking next month to see if I get any good blastocysts (due to work I’m not able to go for long durations) I’ve been on two icsi long protocols in the past and first one they only got one C grade embryo

Inspiration, hopeful stories and what to do next
Hey all, we're just taking some time out of the whole process for a few months. A bit of history; I'm 37 (38 in June), diagnosed with Endometriosis, Fibroids and Autoimmune Thyroiditis (Hashimotos) IVF - long protocol - 3 eggs collected, sperm all good, 2 fertilised, one day 5 put back in, test negative

How do you deal with the sadness?
I’m 37 and we’ve just done a fresh round (our second - first we only got to morala stage) with icsi and I started spotting at 9dpt. Brown at first - I was stupidly excited thinking this was the magical implantation bleed. However, it continued and by day 12 I was having pretty bad cramps and brighter

How much impact does a Binge session have on Sperm?
We have been trying for a couple of years. We had initial tests and my husband has low motility & morphology. We are taking supplements and lifestyle changes before considering ICSI. My husband is on a binge drinking session today, I'm really annoyed as he said he wouldn't drink much. He also has one
