Natural modified clinic suggestions
Hi everyone, I want to start my fourth round of ivf this time privately as I had three failed rounds of ICSI at NHS. Can anyone please suggest clinics in London they have been successful with. I am particularly interested in natural modified method as I’ve tried the normal rounds but did not work for

45, 3 ‘top quality’ embryos transferred BFN
So saddened that after 6 years of trying naturally, including 3 IVF-ICSI cycles since 2020, facing so many interruptions and delays because the pandemic began, such a promising 3rd cycle has ended with a BFN 14dp3dt. A blood test yesterday confirmed it’s negative. The best thing I did was to get a laparoscopy

Help please. Do I stick with conventional or change to natural/modified ICSI?
Hi all, I am feeling overwhelmed at the moment with decisions to be made. I have low AMH of 1.6 (Apr 21) and normal FSH. Using donated sperm as on my own. I have done two rounds of conventional IVF/ICSI both long and short protocols. 1 egg out of two fertilised but End in pregnancy on long protocol

Results of Egg Retrieval
Well we finally called the lab today, tired of waiting to hear if we got any blastocysts, and they said that we had one that was frozen yesterday. I'm not sure how to feel about this. Last time we had five eggs, three that fertilized normally, and two blastocysts. One BFN and one miscarriage. This time

2nd round success stories?
Hi everyone! I'm starting my second round this week, I've just finished the contraceptive pill and have my baseline scan on Thursday. This time I'm doing a short protocol icsi and it's nerve-wracking to be setting myself up for it all again! I'm in this weird limbo land of trying not to get my hopes

Day 3 quality and where to go from here...
Hi ladies. Hope you're all ok 😊 I'm 40, and on my 3rd fresh round of ICSI, due to male factor and my low AMH. First round got 3 eggs, none made it to day 5, round 2 I had 1 egg and cancelled the cycle, which strangely resulted in pregnancy but then a MMC. This round I've got 3 embies but today been

Egg retrieval was today
So we got six eggs today from the retrieval. The doctor had counted eight follicles, so I was hoping for eight, but oh well. This will be a freeze-all cycle so happily I won't have to be stressing about preparing for transfer. I still don't know which of these eggs were mature, I don't think. I guess

Second round, no embryos to transfer
Our embryo transfer was booked for yesterday (Wednesday). We had the call in the morning (8am) from the clinic to update us on the status of our embyros at day 5 (we already had our day 3 call). They confirmed that there was one slow one and one which could be ready but doesn't look to be doing anything

Second round - should be better but only 2 fertilised
So we're mid way into our second round. Medication adjustment adding in Fyremadel and Menopur to the first round's Ovaleap for stims, resulted in 5 eggs. With two immature and 3 to undergo ICSI. My partners sample has always been good but on the day it was a bit low on numbers - unexplained and unexpected

Day 1 embryo feeling 💔
I’ve spoken to the embryologist today and of 14 eggs collected only 6 fertilised 2 got damaged with ICSI The remaining didn’t form why would this be ?? Does this mean the remaining 6 are likely to have problems after losing so many 😢

5 weeks pregnant, light bleeding but line getting darker - chemical?
Hi lovely people ❤️ I had my (first ever) BFP after ICSI two days ago at 13dp3dt, tested again yesterday which was positive as well. Me and my husband were over the moon, immediately started dreaming and planning for our future like two morons.. even told his mum who knew we were waiting for results

Low AMH Long Protocol
Hello everyone, I wondered if I could please get some advice. I've recently just had my first round of ICSI (January 2022) using short protocol. During this round we found out that one of my ovaries didn't respond at all to the injections and my consultant thinks this ovary is unlikely to produce any

Covid and sperm - should we wait?
Hi all, I am due to start a fresh icsi short protocol on 17 Feb and my partner tested positive with covid on sunday and is still +ve today. I am still negative. Even if I were to get it, I expect we will both be clear and negative by the time we get to treatment. My question is around whether the covid

Hi guys, Looking for advice or experience. We had a second fresh cycle, got 6 eggs, 3 mature but found out this morning that none fertilised. I’m heartbroken. We had a fresh round last year and got 5 embryos from ICSI, 2 resulted in pregnancy but miscarriages. I’m just so heartbroken that this new

Final cycle before icsi
Well folks, that was the last cycle before my planned icsi where I could have fallen pregnant naturally. Negative early test this morning. We really tried and tried the last few months and I've been taking my supplements, had lots of acupuncture and had a decent diet. Why did I convince myself this would

It's suddenly very real 😬
All my medication for my upcoming ICSI cycle has arrived. It's overwhelming how much of it there is! It now suddenly feels very real. I'm not scared of needles but seeing how much medication I'm about to have over the next few weeks is frightening. Hoping someone can reassure me it's not as bad as it

High sperm DNA fragmentation, any tips?
Hi all! After 6 failed ICSI fresh cycles with terrible fertilization rates (0-20%) we finally had a sperm DNA comet test done. It came back showing that my partner has really high DNA fragmentation. Average: 48% , Low: 2% High: 40% We consulted with a clinic in Greece and they recommended my partner

Magnetic-Activated Cell Sorting (MACS): A Useful Sperm-Selection Technique in Cases of High Levels of Sperm DNA Fragmentation
Hi Everyone I am struggling to find an IVF clinic which offer the MACS technique in the UK as part of ICSI. There is literature out there which supports its ability to sort sperm cells and choose those with Low DNA fragmentation. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7763893/ Currently it is
