Repeated implantation failure - recommendations for tests, treatment and clinics?
Hi ladies I hope you're all doing OK on this journey. I'm new to the forum but don't know where else to turn for advice. My husband and I have unexplained infertility. We had a successful round of ICSI in April 2021, resulting in 9 good quality blastocysts. Since then we had one fresh transfer and

Azoospermia straight to ICSI?
Hi, I hope everyone is doing okay with their fertility journeys. I wanted to ask if anyone has experience of fertility consultant moving straight to suggesting ICSI when azoospermia is not fully investigated? As soon as we had to sperm samples with zero sperm count, my husband and I went private for

Triggered too soon
Just had the call from clinic to update us of rate of fertilisation following egg retrieval yesterday. 15 follicles, 9 eggs collected, none fertilised via ICSI. The embryologist stated none of the eggs were mature. She said I should have continued stimulating longer and that the trigger was administered

Another BFN result on Friday, This was my last embryo and my 4th cycle in total. I am devastated. Unfortunately the first three cycles were all done prior to me finding out I had damaged tubes (which are now removed). Iām almost 39 and need to consider if we proceed with anymore ICSI cycles. And so we go again!!
My husband and I have just received a treatment summary of our ICSI cycle that resulted in the birth of our little boy Jack. We are now going private in the hope of having a sibling. Does anyone have any advice on the second time round? Any ideal questions to ask?

Egg collection = 1 egg that didnāt survive ICSI
After our egg collection in March that yielded no eggs, this collection was really going to dictate our chances. Well the title says it all after 2 rounds we still have nothing to transfer š I am 35, AMH 4.9 I had 4 follicles but again they couldnāt access my abdominal ovary. In terms of using my own

Recurrent implantation failure test
Hi lovelies, Would be great to hear your advice/stories! Iāve had one early pregnancy loss from an ICSI cycle and two failed transfers (1 x Fresh and 1x frozen). Our consultant has suggested that I do a RIF test. I didnāt realise how expensive it was. Have you taken the test and did it help with you

First FET - a few question:
Story so far: ICSI because of poor morphology. first fresh round only got one morula. Failed cycle. Second fresh round: 2 top grade blastos one put back and failed second going back on June 20th. 1. Had anyone had success with a similar experience? 2. Suggestions of what I should be doing to help

Low fertilisation in IVF/any hope of day 2 update?
Hi all, ***tw for high follicle numbers/complaining about getting 3 fertilised eggs*** I had my first egg collection yesterday, after TTC since Aug 2020 with various rounds of clomid/TI/IUI. I'm 31, have a very high AMH and PCOS so my consultant said he expected us to need one cycle to get 'enough embryos

I do have a few embroys in the freezer but due to my age my consultant suggested I harvest more embroys whilst

Day1 post egg collection- disheartened
So we had a call from the embryologist this morning. Not so great news but holding out for some hope we get some to freeze. Out of 20 eggs they managed to ICSI 17 but only 4 have fertilised overnight š„ they will ring me tomorrow to see how things are and if we should freeze tomorrow or go to day 5 before

šHas anyoneās partner experienced improved Sperm Quality/DNA fragmentation damage after Varicocele operation?
Hi lovelies! 7 years ago we found out that my partner has really poor sperm quality and that was the reason we first got referred to IVF. 1 1/2 years ago we found out he also has severe DNA damage through the sperm DNA comet test. We also finally went to see an urologist a year ago and they found moderate

Kinda low eggs, smoking partner & low fertilisation with icsi
Hi does anybody know why doctors want you to take Norethisterone before your stimulation? Iām worried this would suppress the number of follicles? I am doing second ivf cycle starting stimulation in 2 weeks, last cycle didnāt go well or how I expected at all, I had low fertilisation with icsi only

HCG doing weird things - help?!
Looking for some advice, or to see if anyone has had a similar experience. Absolutely going out of my mind here š We had a 5 day transfer from ICSI on the 28th March (so 3 weeks ago). I got a positive at 9dpt, but started bleeding and cramping the same day. Clinic increased my progesterone, and told

Update: ultra long ICSI protocol for grade 4 endo, ended in mc
Hi all I posted quite a while ago in here and the Endo group and some people wanted to see how we got on with the ultra-long protocol of ICSI that we did (3 months or decapeptyl before starting stims). I'll start with the 3 months of decapaptyl as that was the biggest difference! It effectively puts

Fibroids and Treatment
Hi I am currently in the injection stage if ICSI. I had my check up scan on Sunday and they said I have a cyst and a fibroid. They are not sure if the fibroid is just touching the end of my lining or not so they have booked me back in tomorrow with a doctor to have a look. This is the first I have

Does ICSI give better fertilisation rates?
Good morning everyone ! Quick question does ICSI improve fertilisation rates? I always have at 19 to 21 eggs collected 9 to 12 mature/ fertilise but then the numbers just vanish and I get no more than 2 to freeze on day 5/6. Im about to start another cycle on the long protocol and was wondering if
