2nd ICSI cycle, 9days stimulation, 8 follicles
hi all, we are through the 2nd ICSI cycle, I am on 9th day of stimulation and had 8 follicles today all growing at different sizes, largest 16mm and smallest 10mm. Do you think it is a positive sign? I am so stressed we may not get any embryos at the end. Let me know if anyone was in a similar situation

Brown discharge in week 8
Hi everyone, I am now in week 8 of my post ICSI / PGTA normal embryo pregnancy and I experienced light bleeding at 2 occasions last weekend, while feeling particularly dizzy and tired. I ended up at the A&E and had a scan earlier this week where everything was ok with the embryo and they couldn't identify

September cycle buddies
Hi All, I have an appointment with my consultant tomorrow with the hope that we will be going through an ivf cycle this month. We will need ICSI and I have low AMH. Really hoping it works. Anyone in a similar boat or looking to go through a cycle this month. Really find having buddies helpful in cheering

Age 43, AMH and AFC ok. High or Low dose stimulation? Hysteroscopy? Additional tests?
Hi all, I've approached 2 clinics in Greece. Each have offered very different protocols. A - One in Athens is suggesting clomid (x3 a day) with perhaps 150 menopur added on, aiming for better quality eggs. They say I have polystic type ovaries (not the syndrome) They are also saying I need a hysteroscopy

Hi all, I hope you are all finding a way through your journeys. I start with an apology. So far,I think I've posted three times about waiting but it really is gruelling for me and husband and I just wanted to reach out and hear about others on a similar journey... After several months of private

Implantation failed FET 2nd round IVF with NHS
Hi all, today I tested BFN and that’s my 2nd round FET out. I’m 36, DH 40. We are generally healthy, TTC for a long time so got referred to NHS for ICSI because of low sperm mobility. We are lucky to get 3 rounds under NHF funding so we stopped looking for private clinics but things get frustrated

**Trigger warning-Sensitive post** I wanted to write this post because I found posts like this very helpful on our journey but i am sorry if it upsets anyone. After 2 x 8 week miscarriages; 5 chemical pregnancies (all natural), and 1 failed round of IVF, we welcomed our little Jamie into the world

Coping strategies needed!
Yesterday I had my 8th embryo transfer. we we're lucky enough to conceive with our first DE ICSI cycle in 2016, since then we've had 7FET with DE. We needed to find a new donor after the 2nd fet. There has been a miscarriage and biochemical pregnancies with the last three goes . I'm not sure what I'm

Is it time for donor eggs?
After a very difficult 18 months we have had our follow up from our last failed round. We discussed various things but ultimately my consultant does not think we should go through another round, and I agree, 4 rounds later 1st total fertilisation failure, 2nd cancelled, 3rd double transfer but they weren

bit lost
Hi folks, This is all a bit alien to me. My wife and I have been on the ivf journey since 2019. It looks like we’ve reached an unhappy ending and I’m rubbish at actually talking to people so I thought writing something on here might help (fully aware this will seem self-centred and attention seeking

Natural Cycle FET
Just an update really. So since our ICSI cycle in April and the concern of OHSS we managed to freeze 3 embryos. That's the good news we managed to get 3 frozen. My concern is they were frozen on day 2 so not sure what quality these will be and if they even make it through the thaw 😖 Just have to

tested a day early 😭
So I went and did it - I tested a day early, just this afternoon and a BFN, really trying hard not to be too devastated I know I need to test tomorrow morning and bloods are booked for Monday but it’s so hard not to just disintegrate that was my second full round of ICSI just 1 embryo that made it all

Shocked by abnormal fertilisation after ICSI
Does anyone know why abnormal fertilisation happens? I've had several IVF rounds with high fertilisation and never any abnormal fertilisation. In my latest round, we decided to do ICSI/IMSI at a new clinic. 13 out of 14 eggs fertilised, but only 5 fertilised normally on Day 1. I've never had abnormal

Failed Fertilisation
Hi, this was my first round of IVF. I had 3 matured eggs but none of them fertilised. We had IVF instead of ICSI and for some reason there was no connection built between the sperm and the eggs. Sperm and egg quality were normal. I am not sure what to do next. Has anyone had this before and became
