Through research and the help of thyroid UK I now take vitamin D3 MK2 and magnesium. Pains in my chest which used to feel like a heart attack have cleared up since

Is it worth taking magnesium supplements?
On Christmas Day our family gathered at our place and after dinner, as usual, the conversation turned to medical topics. My aunt told us that her neighbor told her that Magnesium may prime the immune system to fight cancer and infections. Dr. Hess and scientists in Switzerland have now discovered that

Hello everyone, this is my first post here! I have recently started taking 75mg of pregabalin per day to try and reduce my RLS. Lately, it got so bad that I honestly felt I had no other options (tried magnesium and iron supplements with no luck). I feel like I am starting to sleep better, but I'm not

omeprazole use with ani inflammatory medication. Magnesium oil spray.
hi, sorry to hear about your struggles. I’ve been on omeprazole for many years to treat acid reflux. If you’re on any anti inflammatory drugs, these can cause stomach acid and that’s probably why you have been given them. For pain I use magnesium oil spray from Holland and Barrett I find it helps a

sciatica and constipation
Lately I have noticed that when I am constipated, my sciatica acts up to where I cannot walk. I have been going to the chiropractor, doing traction, dry needling, reflexology, and massage. I have also been taking the magnesium, (MSM). but when the constipation gets bad, I cannot walk. The MSM keeps

magnesium glycinate and pregnancy
Knowing that lots of you take magnesium glycinate, have any of you taken it safely during pregnancy? Slightly off topic as I’m enquiring for my daughter who does not have a thyroid problem but is in the first trimester of pregnancy and is only sleeping about three hours a night. I suggested magnesium

High Blood Pressure (Hypertension) - Hypothyroidism
Hi everyone, Does anyone have experience with being hypo having high blood pressure. I am a 45 year old male - I am in pretty good shape. Exercise everyday and eat pretty healthy. I finally got my thyroid within range. I kinda neglected (only looked at tsh) it for the last couple of years.

RLS OR NOT?
Four years ago I fell, hit the back of my head and had internal damage. Arms were numb, loss of memory, and uncontrollable leg movement, mostly early evening. Every thing seems back to normal except for the legs and short memory loss. So for four years I thought I had RLS and so did the doctors. I am

How much T3 to increase by?
So I tested too early at 4 weeks after my last dose change and have now left it 11 weeks due to being away for a while. There's been quite a shift in the results, so good job I retested later, although now wishing I had added another 5mcg back at the time. Anyway, on 125mcg Levo taken at night and 10mcgs

magnesium taurate
Hello good morning, can someone tell me what the difference is between magnesium taurate and other kinds of magnesium. I see so many posts where where this seems to be the recommended type of magnesium to take. Thank you very much

Recommendation for a magnesium supplement
My sister has been diagnosed with Hashimoto’s disease. She has been advised by her doctor to take 400mg of magnesium per day. As there are so many brands on the market, can anyone please advise, from their own experience, a good brand that has minimum bulking agents and gluten free. Thank you.

Ectopics in the night
I wake early every morning and this time I had a couple of ectopics which sent me into a panic, which increased the ectopics. The usual fear of dying comes over me. I tried to calm down with camomile tea, slow breathing and finally diazepam, but it took 2 and a half hours before I felt more settled
