magnesium taurate
Hello good morning, can someone tell me what the difference is between magnesium taurate and other kinds of magnesium. I see so many posts where where this seems to be the recommended type of magnesium to take. Thank you very much

Recommendation for a magnesium supplement
My sister has been diagnosed with Hashimoto’s disease. She has been advised by her doctor to take 400mg of magnesium per day. As there are so many brands on the market, can anyone please advise, from their own experience, a good brand that has minimum bulking agents and gluten free. Thank you.

Ectopics in the night
I wake early every morning and this time I had a couple of ectopics which sent me into a panic, which increased the ectopics. The usual fear of dying comes over me. I tried to calm down with camomile tea, slow breathing and finally diazepam, but it took 2 and a half hours before I felt more settled

hi all some of you know my story but I’ve had PAF for 29 years about 8 times in that period. I went back in AF in August and went on regime of Flecainide, Metropolol and Apixiban. Decided to do Cardioversion end of September after being on drugs for a month. Went off all drugs after a few weeks told

More recent bloods & dose increase
After my last post regarding my private blood tests, my Endo increased my levo to 100/125 alternate days. I've just had more blood tests, 6 weeks on through the Endo so no Ft3 and again he says they're in range! I really lost my sh*t and got out my list and explained how I've been feeling since having

Magnesium
I’ve regularly been given magnesium in the form of a powder dissolved in water here in the Basildon Cardiothoracic Centre. When I asked one of the nurses why, she said “it’s good for AF”. I know that many people here take a magnesium supplement here for that reason but I thought it would be useful to

Constipation. A smooth number two makes my day!
Hello T-warriors I have constipation. It is genetic and also, I believe, due to high doses of antibiotics as a child. In essence, my digestion is skewed and it is hard for an easy number two! I also have a bloating belly and feel digestion grew more complicated taking senna tablets long term. senna

Newbie looking for advice on recent test result
I was diagnosed with an underactive thyroid in april 2022. What a rollercoaster! Do I have an autoimmune thyroid disorder? My first test was looking at reason for a change in bowel movements and fatigue. Doctor responded directly to the TSH level and placed me on 25mg levothyroxine. Serum

Should I be concerned that the first result is very low in the range?

B-12 is Low (398), Folate is High, HCY is 55.6, uMMA is 1.7 , vitamin D and C and Magnesium are Low, all B vitamins are low.
Why is the GP not taking my labs seriously, I've been taking methylcobalamin tablets for a year and just began 5-MTHF because of Folate Deficiency found in my DNA, GP declined to do a MMA Blood serum test, I have been allergic to milk and beef since birth, peanuts followed with life threatening allergies

Best Form of Magnesium Supplement
Interested in folks opinions on this. Looking to start taking Mg Supplement but confused about the relative positive/negatives for each type. L-threonate being talked up as it crosses the BBB and has slowed neural decline in mice - but quite pricey compared to say Malate or Glycimate. Aged 50, diagnosed

Magnesium Taurate Dose
Hi As a former patient of Sanjay Gupta I take the recommended daily Magnesium Taurate tablet (Cardiovascular Research 125mgs per tablet) for AF and palpitations. Unfortunately I am currently struggling to buy this - I usually get it from Amazon but for some reasons it’s not currently available, I did

Bloods results help please
I went to see my private endo 3 weeks ago and he asked for loads of bloods. I'll post them below but I'm confused as my previous tests on 07/10 showed TSH 2.89 (range 0.35-5.5 um/L) and free T4 14.3 pmol/L (range 10.5-21) - those were done by GPThe last bloods were done on 9/11 at di only a month later

Trialling Buprenorphine and Dipyramidole - experience
Hello everyone! I’ve been around for a little while but I’ve been waiting for something definite to report. At age 56, the RLS was getting very disruptive so I had to find an alternative to my usual sleep medication. It took me a few years. In the end I returned to my old GP, who listened and thought
