Should I investigate possible PA?
Hi everyone, I have joined this community as I am wondering whether I should explore a potential PA diagnosis. I originally suspected a thyroid problem and through Thriva had a Thyroid panel done, my results were Active B12 64 pmol/L. (37.5 - 188) Ferritin 57 ug/L (13 -150) Folate 11 nmol/L (8.8 -

Ok I'm on low carb eating and have lost 12lb which I'm very proud of. I was advised to take powdered collagen to guard against loss of hair, Biotin for hair and nails plus electrolytes which apparently we lose with the loss of fluid. Has anyone encountered these supplements. Is there anything I should

Interesting article about the effects of fasting.
https://nationalpost.com/health/fasting-for-three-days-renews-entire-immune-system-protects-cancer-patients-remarkable-new-study-finds I came across this article regarding fasting. It sounds too good to be true, but... I am inclined to go ahead and give it a try. Perhaps closer to my next CBC check,

Symptoms but high peak flow
Hiya, I'm still waiting to be diagnosed but due to Covid-19, I haven't been able to meet the asthma nurse again. They think I have allergy induced/seasonal asthma as my main triggers are aerosols, hay-fever and tomatoes (intolerant). They suggested I track my peak flow so they have good evidence when

Quesadilla + LCHF Friendly
If anyone fancies trying these there's tonnes of recipes online. Veg ones, meat ones, vegan ones, keto and LCHF ones. They're delicious and can be really nutritious. Here's the recipe we love but I'm sure there's nicer options - https://youtu.be/h7F_6Uwhm6c And a recipe for making Keto and LCHF tortillas

Right, so. Bear with me, as it’s a fairly long read, and I don’t know that anyone will have any thoughts or suggestions anyway. I am going to speak to the physiologists again, who are as desperate to understand this as I am, but thought it’s worth a punt posting here all the same to see if any of the

Vegetarian lchf summer supper
Here are the dishes I cooked for my family when they came over earlier this evening. As it was so beautiful and warm outside, I served everything cold. There are stuffed peppers (with cherry tomatoes & fresh basil); beetroot hummus; roasted apricots with tomatoes & feta and butter beans with red onions

PLEASE - do not take this as any form of advice or guidance. I am posting it as a matter of interest, very largely due to the many discussions about vitamins K1 and K2 over the years right here. [i]

Trying to combine IF with LCHF
I am almost at the end of my two week extreme low carb, as advised, after eating lowish carbs and losing weight slowly for a few months. After a discussion on here, I am also trying to work towards 16:8, but at the moment I have not even achieved 14:10, which is an interim goal. I have always been hungry

The most successful diet?
I wonder if it would be possible to produce an analysis with a graph depicting which diet has been the most successful out of all the followers and contributors to this forum???? I started the 5:2 but didn’t stick with it. Before Easter and before lockdown, I lost half a stone on the Easter challenge
