Self-Care at Home for Diabetic Foot
A person with diabetes should do the following: Foot examination: Examine your feet daily and also after any trauma, no matter how minor, to your feet. Report any abnormalities to your physician. Use a water-based moisturizer every day (but not between your toes) to prevent dry skin and cracking.

Qigong for Self-Healing
I practised Qigong first 18 years ago when I was diagnosed with a
slipped
disc
in my back. My twin sons were a year old and my oldest two and a half so surgery was out of the question and not a high success rate.

First blog on this site.
We don't work due to our illnesses ( I also have a
slipped
disc
and kyphosis) so we pull together and help each other out with everything which is nice.

this is my past and present not sure what to do
I suppose I didn’t want to put anymore stress on my mum as she had been ill with a
slipped
disc
in her back (January), mini stroke (June) and then she broke her leg in three places (September). I also didn’t know how to tell them or what good it would do.

Hello
I
slipped
a
disc
about 16 years ago and seemed to go down hill from that point. I'm 66 and was a fairly active person but have slowly almost ground to a halt. Stuart:

Pain in the butt
I
slipped
a
disc
10 years ago so I'm thinking it's related to back and sciatica issues of old and maybe bad posture. So it's off the Gait Analysis folk for me to address the bad posture and shoes. Can anyone recommend stretches or exercises to assist with or help avoid butt pain ?
