Amitriptyline
I have intense itching/burning in my arms and have been prescribed Amitriptyline 10mg for pain relief for Brachioradial Pruritis. How long does it take before benefits are noticed?

Mammogram with MBC
Does anyone have advice on getting a mammogram with MBC? My doctor said it was up to me. I’m 46 and had a mastectomy on my right side 7 years ago. The cancer returned in November. I wasn’t happy with the vague answer from my doctor.

Now after being on Mirapex for over a year it has quit working. Any tips, helpful hints? Was also having insomnia

pain from underarm incision
Three weeks ago I had a partial mastectomy, oncoplastic surgery to reconstruct that breast and lymph node removal. I'm experiencing a fair amount of pain in the underarm incision. Also experiencing a sort of zapping pain in the breast, which people say is nerve regeneration (?). Can anyone help with

First time breast cancer patient
Two weeks ago, I had a simple mastectomy for Ductal Carcinoma in Situ (non-invasive). I am relieved that they got all of it, but still dealing with a drainage bulb and moderate pain from an infection. Although I've had surgeries before, dealing with cancer is new to me.

What is the difference?
Difference between .5mg and 0.5? My past prescription was klonopin 0.5 (Yellow round) My pharmacy says they cant get it from the supplier anymore so I was given 1mg tablets (blue round) so I cut it in half making it a .5mg right? I don't know why this confuses me. :) i was taking it for anxiety,

Un-diagonosed Sleep Apnea
A few months ago I posted a question about high blood pressure at night and getting up 4 or 5 times a night for the toilet. I have had PAF for 7 years and was changed to Sotalol following a couple of Cardioversions three years ago. I went to my doctors about 2 years ago concerned with my night time toilet

tingling in little fingers, MS?
I'm fairly new to this ms thing (dx in May) and luckily, so far, only with invisible, mild symptoms. But I'm trying to figure out what my body experiences. How does hand tingling starts with MS? my little fingers have been tingling a bit, on and off for past 2 weeks. I wonder if it's "Cubital tunnel

Looking for research on Chorea and APS Please
Hello everyone, thank you for the ongoing support all of you provide for us all here on the forum. Just got back from the OHSU in Portland Oregon. The specialists have tossed Chorea onto the table with the APS diagnosis. Searching for information so I may learn how to navigate properly through this

Morning All, Really need your advice as I'm really fretting, I had my DE 5 day transfer on Monday and last night when I went to the toilet there was a bit of pink on the tissue and just now there was a bit more blood when I wiped (sorry for TMI),could this be my period coming or would it be too early

Ampyra and toe cramps
Anyone tried ampyra? It’s working fantastically for me and I’m walking much better. However, I’ve had a significant increase in cramping in my toes since starting. Wondering if they are related.

Hello, I'm new.
Hi Everyone, I'm recently diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer of the bone. My first go round was 2013 -I had a right mastectomy (18-21 nodes removed) and T + C chemo. Stacked DIEP flap reconstruction. I couldn't tolerate hormonal therapy then so I just did chemo. Bone mets appeared last April-big
