Agitated sleep
Hi everyone, I need ideas/advice to cope with my husband’s agitated sleep. He clasps and unclasps his hand and rubs constantly and rocks the boat which wakes me up. Or he rubs his face so hard he has red marks in the morning. I’m not sure about giving him a sleep aid or cbd oil: what have you experienced

Study: Probiotics mixture increases butyrate, and subsequently rescues the nigral dopaminergic neurons...
Haven't seen this one posted here. For those interested in probiotics, this might provide at least a hint regarding one particular strain worth trying. Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG is widely available (e.g., in Culturelle) and is one of the most studied strains. Does anyone know of other specific strains

I was at my pain dr. appt yesterday letting them know how not so well the Mirapex was working. They were shocked !!! Not. Kinda expected to hear it was a bust. I did make a report of daily pain scales and where I was feeling the pain and that my sleep has greatly diminished. Then I asked about Nuepro

How do I know
I was diagnosed with stage IIIb lobular carcinoma in April of 2011. I had health insurance under the expanded Medicaid (thanks to the ACA) after 7 years of no coverage thanks to my pre-existing condition (thyroid cancer in 1999). I went through a lumpectomy followed by mastectomy, 6 months of chemo,

Sleeping like a baby...
Hi, my husband is 56 years old, PD for approx. 9 years. Sometimes he wakes up in the morning and then has to go back to bed an hour later. He sleeps most of the afternoon away. His quality of life is really bad. He has gained so much weight because of his inactivity. I read all these posts about people

When to stop Co-Q10/ubiquinone/ubiquinol?
Hello lovely ladies, I am due to start my priming in three days, and stimming in about 15-20 days. This time, along with the preconception multivitamin and the extra Vitamin D, I have also been taking omega-3 and Co-Q10 (in the ubiquinone form). On "It starts with the egg" the author seems to say to

I felt like every bone of my skeleton hurt. Going to my chiropractor didn’t help. My usual go to med for OA ,Aleve, didn’t touch it. Had xrays and MRI. Rings that I had worn for years suddenly were too tight. Hand specialist said that was what jewelers were for, have my rings resized. After reading

PLMD worse with common cold/flu?
Does anyone experience their PLMD being worse when they have a cold/flu? I have recently had a string of colds/flu. I have taken to my bed for a week or more each time, being completely exhausted. I used to just take cold remedies and push on with my daily life, now I’m off work sick. I’m wondering

Should I stop prolia?
Have been on prolia injections for 5 years since breast cancer and double mastectomy followed by 3 months of chemo. Next Prolia Due 7/2019. Wasn’t informed of possible side effects but have been researching prolia past 9 months due to feeling like “crap” with no obvious explanation. Have decided to refuse

Cancer cells returned in juncture of joining, after total gastrectomy.
Had difficulty swallowing, yet again, so endoscopy requested. They took biopsies and sadly turns out cancerous cells have been found. CT scan thankfully did not find anything so PET scan was done today. Now got to wait 4-5 days for those results. I am wondering if the cancerous cells could have been

Mirapex to replace Horizant.
Well. I believe I have a winner. I'm taking the minimum dose right now .125 mgs and I was told by the pain drs RN I can raise it upto .250 mgs. Monday if I need to. I'm gonna raise it because I have a little bit of RLS symptoms showing. Not anywhere near I was afraid I was going to have. Even the RN

Mammograms
My oncologist doesn’t feel mammograms are necessary since I’m being treated for MBC. I’ve had a partial mastectomy of my right breast, chemo and radiation in 2005. It metastasized to both lungs in 2016. I had massive chemo again. Now I’m on Letrozole and Ibrance and everything is stable. But I wanted
