Medication priadel

Hi I have been on priadel for 20years and have had a couple of episodes that I have ended up in hospital those were in the early days since then I have been taking my medication has been level today I was requested to get my blood checks so happens that this coincides with my tablets running out I had them order for Thursday but the surgery phones says need a blood test could I come in for it to get done not thinking that would affect me not getting my tablets but no the prescription has been stopped till I have the test done this makes no sense as I have been on this medication for years now I have to wait till late Monday for my tablets leaving me without any tablets till then but what is the difference on giving me the tablets on Thursday when I needed them and now waiting till Monday when the blood results won't be back from labs to now leaving me worrying if I will have a manic episode as I have been level for years through no fault of my own i get a two months supply of priadel and get a blood test every three months so if this test needs done in the middle of those two months they dont stop my medication I feel doctors surgery have put me in a situation that never needed to happen has anyone else had this done to them .

It is probably best to make an appointment to see your doctor to see if they can sort this situation out for you.

Hi. Mas _nurse.

Spoke to my daughter last night she was fumingat this happening and recommended that I call NHS 24 I did this this morning spoke to a nurse then a doctor and have managed to get an emergency doze of tablets so relieved its been a few day that I missed the tablets and certainly feel a lot of horrible side affects .

But will be speaking to the doctors find out why this happens in the first place I don't see why when you have serious conditions like this and others that you can't get extra tablets maybe a week or longer in case this kind if thing happens save me and anyone else having the worry and added stress dreadful side effects
