4th transfer !

Hi I’m 40 years old and I just had my FET on the 18/4/19 3 day 3 embryos , 2 of 6cells and 1 of 8cells. My clinic started me on Progesterone injections 200mg /day since the 15/4/19 & increase my Progynova to 4 times a day since 12/4/19.

After transfer I was on 100mg once a day progesterone & Progynova continued at 4 times a day. Progesterone level was checked on a week after transfer which was at 42 .

I requested to alternate between the Crinone gel 8% twice a day and the Gestone 100mg injection due to the soreness. However on day 9 I had bits of menses (fresh tiny clots) informed my doctor and she said it’s best to continue with the daily injections first.

Only on day 12 after transfer I had the gel twice a day and today day 14 ! Since I have had no obvious symptoms other than the lethargy and mild cramps on I’m absolutely petrified to take the beta HCG blood test !

I have decided to take the home pregnancy test tomorrow morning ! So totally worried I don’t know how am I going to sleep tonight 😫

In summary , I have had 6 stimulations, 5 ovum pickups and 4 transfers since 2015.

First one I preovulated they lost all my ovums except one and that was transferred but failed , next stimulation didn’t yield any viable ovum ( poor quality I was told) .

2017 I went to a different clinic which noted I had low level of vit D and was corrected accordingly then went on to have 2 ovum pick ups ( mine was low dose stimulation , collectively only had 8 good grade ovums) .

Then I had a FET with 3day 3 embryos which failed, after that I had another pick up and a fresh transfer done with 3 day 5 blastocyst, which failed last October.

Early Jan this year I had another ovum pick up which had 5 ovums , 3 grade A & another 1 grade B and 1 immature one.

So the 3 day 3 embryos is which I had the FET on the 18/5/19 with......

Ladies I’m sorry I’m just ranting somewhat it makes me feel so much better to write & read posts on this support group.

Thank you in advance for reading....

Wow what a journey you have come through. I am due for testing on Sunday 5th May, I totally understand your need of wanting to test early. Find a way to distract yourself, blood tests are a better determinant so you don’t get discouraged with a urine test...

You have been through such a lot. I really hope this is the transfer that works out for you. It sounds like you’ve been very proactive. I’m about to do my fourth transfer in June x

Have you tested?

Yes I have and my beta HCG is only 1.07 mIU/ml 😔😢...... In 2017 it’s was lesser than 0.1mIU/ml.....if that is supposed to be of any consolation to me 😔 I guess you gotta got through what you gotta go through !

Im really sorry to hear all that you have been through and that you havent gotten your BFP, so cruel when you try so hard and so many times! We have had 4 BFN's (2 OE & 2DE), we got a BFP on our 5th transfer but lost the pregnancy at 6 wks so I understand what you are going through! I hope you have something nice planned to reward yourselves for being so strong. Sending hugs.xx

You have definitely been through the mill. I am in awe of how strong you are. If it was me even if I did a HPT and got a positive I would still question it until I had the official blood test, it wouldn't make me any less anxious at all. You'll know really what is right for you.

Best of luck! I am keeping everything crossed for you!!
