Wound Care
Hi.. it's almost 2 weeks since my CABG was done and I'm still getting some oozing from the bottom of my wound. Is this normal? Should I be concerned it's still not dried up? I wouldn't say it's hor or sore particularly but of course I'm not a doctor.

CABG x 2 done
I'm home! Having spent almost 3 weeks in hospitals over the last month I'm pleased to be home. The CABG was done on the 11th July in the end and they did x2 bypasses. The surgeon used both mammary arteries so I have got any healing in the leg and arms. It wasn't all plain sailing post operation though

What is it?
Okay so Tuesday night I had this sore lump on my head, thought it was start of spot left it 2 days (now Thursday) and a small head has appeared however there was puss that came out of it but still swollen lump around the area? What is it? At first I was told by a few people it was a spot, then a boil

Another cancelled CABG operation
Second NHS cancelation for me. Attended hospital, waited 4 hours in ward dayroom, no bed. Next day back at 0730 hours, waited 7 hours in same dayroom. Next to no contact from hospital staff, until a matron broke the bad news. No ICU bed available, previous operation took longer plus an emergency needed

Best place to buy vitamin D??
Apparently I am very low in vitamin D, B12 and lacking calcium.. I dont drink milk, I am gluten free and I am investigating thyroid problems waiting on results. I need a good source of reliable vitamins that work. Note : I also have lyme disease and co infections which I am going to be under treatment

BITES AND STINGS
Lynora and any other professional bodies out there. Hopalong and myself were speaking yesterday and today regarding insect bites etc., etc., she has been bitten by something during the night and is rightfully so watching for any change in her leg (cellulitis). I have a little problem myself and hope

Cellulitis caused by cracked skin from Lupus SLE?
I am suffering from cellulitis. This is the first time I have had it. Its on both legs and its horrible. I am on antibotics. But reading about this, it says dry cracked skin can cause the bacteria get in. I have had lupus SLE and RA for 4 years, I am on Hydroxy, MTX 12.5mg injections and other meds.

A date for your diary
For those of you who think that Lyme Disease may be at the root of your thyroid problem this is just a reminder that the Chronic Lyme Disease Summit may be of interest to you. There are some very knowledgeable, informed and up-to-date speakers involved. Jane x http://www.gordonmedical.com/unravelling-complex-chronic-illness

Wrist arthritis
Hi. I am new to this community but wonder if anyone can give me advice on the best way to treat pain in my wrist caused by arthritis. I had a giant cell tumor removed from my wrist twice (12 and 10 years ago) and due to the location and size of that, and resulting bone graft, I have marked arthritis

WRIST POST-OP
Good morning all, a little update on my surgery. I am now 3 weeks post-op after having half my wrist replaced, tendon repair and small bone graft. I have had the cast changed to a lighter on which will be on for another 4 weeks and then in a splint. It's going to be a long job but hopefully will be
