A Reflection To Share
Today was not the first day on which a provoking post had left me musing, reflecting, or just basking in the warm glow of shared or happy moment. Today, erash is the one who left me in such a state, as she caused me to reflect upon just what a blessing it is for us to engage in the arts (whether

How are you?
How is everyone today? I hope finding something to enjoy or feel better in anyway! I've just send an email to the UCSF MS Clinic in hopes that they will start me on some meds for the fog and my legs. My legs have been lead weights for days with needles and pins sticking between my toes. He mentioned

Coping - or not coping - with snow
A few years ago I could still just manage to sweep/shovel the snow from my door, along the path and around my car and even dig out small areas where it had been compacted into ice. It was extremely hard work ( while trying not to slip or lose my balance) and very tiring. I was astonished once by my

Essential oils
http://livingtraditionally.com/what-nobody-ever-told-you-about-diffusing-essential-oils/ Essential oils are great for many things. I got into essential oils when I read about Frankecense essential oil being the best oil for the brain. Frankecense oil hasn't exactly cured my injury, far from that but

2 Week Update: Not as good as I'm gonna get, but better than I used to be
I wanted to write an update to let many of you know how I am doing. When I wrote my first post, that was a little less than two weeks ago and was the absolute lowest I'd been during this entire period and I can honestly say, it was the worst I'd ever felt in my life emotionally. After I posted my story

Vertigo
I've had bouts of vertigo over the years. But it's been pretty steady, off and on, since March. Meclizine has become my best friend. 😜 Mostly, it's mild...that light-headed, dizzy, off-balanced feeling. Sometimes nausea accompanies it and there are days it is bad enough to keep me home. I wouldn't even

Hi, I am Aliciab523
Hi, everyone, I am AliciaB523. My son has multiple sclerosis. He was diagnosed in August, 2014. He takes Copaxone 3x a week and it has not many side effects, except a reaction when he takes the shots. It has kept his MS stable, thank God. His MRI's are stable and no new lesions. Yea! He does deal

Stopping My MS Therapy
I started Rebif December 2015. The whole year of 2016 I noticed a decline in my abilities. Of course we all face that dreaded fatigue monster. Gradually through 2016 I have been getting more and more tired - to the point of not being able to stay awake. I had my first relapse in like 8 years by experiencing

MS and things to avoid....
As many of us know who have MS for length of time it seems like each and every year our things to avoid list grows longer. Offhand for those newbies joining our chat room I thought together we could compile a list so they might know what to expect before it happens. Or if they're currently experiencing

Hi fibro-friends... Along with fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Insomnia and all the other associated symptoms of these disorders I regularly have a squeaky eye. My GP said he had never heard of it before...! I was wondering if anyone else in the community here has this or knows anything about

Hi everyone this is my first post. Got some really good news about getting a good night sleep. Sleep on your left side good girl all sorts of health problems. Those with sleep apnea or asthma should not sleep on their backsite. Tried it had to night had a Gresford night sleep. Didnt cough as much

It's that time again.....
Christmas... Can be a pretty tough time for those with a BI so best wishes to all of you who are dreading the noise, the stress, the exhaustion, the pressure to have fun.... I will grit my teeth and get through it because it is, for me, a family time, a chance to muse on what I have achieved in the past
