Depression and anxiety
After a car accident I was in (8 years ago) that was caused by sudden onset of extreme sleepiness, a side effect of mirapex, I was abruptly taken off mirapex and started on gaba. I then suffered from anxiety and depression. Would the abrupt cessation of mirapex or side effects of gaba be the cause

Making progress with sleep with RLS, without Ambien
Great news: I’m having a lot of success sleeping and figuring out my RLS. I've been taking Ambien for the last 10 years not realizing that it was RLS that was keeping me awake. I was needing to increase the dose over the last year which triggered my research. What I’ve learned as I've tried to get

Leg jerks
Has anybody experienced leg jerks or torso jerks while being on lyrica? I have constant almost unstoppable jerks which make me mad!It feels like an electrode is hitting me!These jerks give me pain at my lower left leg.I could also describe them as tics.

MY NEW DRUG LAMOTRIGINE
I had my psychiatrist appointment yesterday, and I understand that this is not a forum for bipolar, but that is what he is trying to help me with, in conjunction with my RLS. I was seriously hoping that a certain med would be able to go, but which one, they are all so important. For instance, the Seroquel

Tomorrow I see my cardiologist and I'm curious what he'll recommend since I'm currently being tested for sleep apnea that test is pending I may need to start CPAP therapy. Has anyone in the community experience CPAP therapy and how that helps with Afib? I'm hoping that whatever he recommends he will

CLL (W&W) Fatigue and Adderall
Hello, community. I've been on W&W for five years now. It looks like I'll be heading into treatment in August or September. Numbers are getting bad. For the past year, I've noticed a slight downward trend in my energy level and my ability to focus. I work on my own, and have to think/write frequently

Any tips/tricks on how to deal with the pain/fatigue??
It's the fatigue that's the worst, it is totally different from the feeling I get from
simply
not getting enough
sleep
- I get very dizzy, light headed and just generally extremely out of it, and can barely move my body or think straight.

Self Hatred
I've grown up living with a Narcissistic mother and her demeaning behavior my entire life, I still live with her as I am her in-home caregiver due to her two strokes and kidney failure. She's treated me like something she has stepped in for as long as I can remember. She has also told me on multiple

Sleep apnoea home test
Has anyone used the Hope2Sleep home test where you rent the kit for 1-3 nights? I'm tempted to do it as I doubt I'll get a sleep study arranged by my GP. Symptoms are snoring, fatigue, never refreshed after sleep, waking during the night to go to the toilet, no libido, poor memory. Could be anything

Caffeine pills
Hi All, My 54 year old husband has had PD for approx. 8 years. A nightmare for the most part. He suffered with such a debilitating sleep disorder that he almost lost his part job. Our family life was semi destroyed from his inability to function. He had brain fog much of the time and slept for hours

RLS Intro
Quick Intro I am a 58 year old grandmother who has had restless egs and PLMD for over 30 years. I have from my head to my toes every where including my private parts. So talking about being aroused 24/7 is not pleasant it is much the opposite. As far as sleep goes. Ha I probably get a couple restorative

Stressful Day & Heightened symptoms
So I had a my first super stressful day yesterday with this lovely MS diagnosis. MIL put in hospital with possible stroke; standing on those concrete floors all evening; daughter in trouble at school; work was a DISASTER..... and now my legs are terrible. Common for symptoms to flair upon stress?

Dealing with my first AF episode since diagnosis 6 months ago
I have posted a lot in the last few days about various problems this week and can only say thanks for all the help. So the thing is how do I deal with being in AF at the moment. For those who have not read or connected the posts here is a quick summary. I have had a virus which has gone to my chest.

Blocked tubes but no hydrosalpinx?
Yesterday I had a lap and dye to see conclusively whether one or both or my tubes were blocked and needed tying (HSG and ultrasound we’re inconclusive). The surgeon told me that yes, they were both blocked but no hydrosalpinx so no clipping required - what causes a blockage if not hydro and why can’t
