CMT & Fatigue - Not What You Think
Does anyone here struggle to get a good nights sleep? A neuropathic consultant I am seeing is convinced that CMT-1A and RLS are related, and the real reason for "fatigue" in CMT is actually due to the incredibly poor quality of sleep. Just to make it known, fatigue and daytime sleepiness are not the

Slowly giving up.
Ok so after my recent post about the NDT seeming to do nothing to help and the mass of supplements I've been taking ( seemingly at wrong doses or unnecessarily) I came to a huge decision. I've literally stopped the lot! I can't get any help from my doctor as I've tried and he's useless and now my head

How risky is 0.5mg Lorazepam 2 or 3 times per week?
I was prescribed 0.5 mg once a day a couple of years ago, for what the dr. decided was panic /anxiety disorder as a result of the heartbreaking stress of caring 24/7 for my much-loved husband in his final couple of years (however, the symptoms didn't appear until 2 years after his death) She suggested

I'll try not to make this a woe is me post lol but I'm really needing some advice. Long story short - naff doctor has insisted for years my thyroid is fine and all my symptoms are down to Narcolepsy and fibro (which they could be) so I took a private blood test which came back as my thyroid at 5.7 and

We’ve just had our viability scan and our little bean had a healthy heartbeat. I know we’re not out of the woods yet but we’re so relieved. Thank you to everyone who’s answered my daft questions and reassured me over the last few weeks (i’m sure there’s more daft questions to come!) It just goes to show

Rhabdomyolysis in a patient complicated with hypopituitarism and multiple organ dysfunction syndrome and the literature review
A frequent suggestion here on Thyroid UK forum is that exercise depletes T3. Seems quite reasonable and there is some evidence - even if much of it would be dismissed as being anecdotal. Here, however, they have a case of rhabdomyolysis, which they pin on hypothyroidism (among others). Yet the treatment

New arrival but old and new issues dbs, cbd oil, constipation, Kemadrin
I
simply
wanted to get a full night's
sleep
and it worked. CBD oil without THC was ineffective. Does anyone know how CBD with THC works in places where it is legal? (some states in USA and Barcelona region of Spain).

It's not an MS hug

Anyone had faint positive at 12dp5dt and still had successful pregnancy?
I tested today and here’s the result. I am 12dp5d frozen transfer of 1 PGS normal embryo. I am scared of another chemical pregnancy or a false positive. Tomorrow is my official test day. I saw other hpts at this time and theirs were a lot darker than mine at 12dp5dt. Hoping for a good number for blood

Modafinil (smart drug)
Hi all Was wondering if anybody else was given Modafinil in recovery/rehabilitation of a brain haemorrhage? I was put on it in December 2012 during my rehabilitation and it brought me on so much. The rehab team made a video of me before I was on the drug and a few months later and the change was unbelievable

I need help/opinions
I'm a 26 year old female. I've been dealing with skipped beats/heart flutters and racing heart for a few years now. I finally seen a cardiologist and they did an Echo and said everything looked A+. I also wore a 24 hour monitor and just got those results back and it came back that all they found was

Sleep walking
Hi my mum who is in her 70s is receiving injections for low B12 levels. Recently she has been sleep walking. Is this something associated with low B12? There are no other underlying diagnosed conditions. Thank you!

Why Don't I Sleep?
It isn't that I can't sleep, if I give myself the chance to
sleep
I will. Taking medication to
sleep
isn't the problem, I
simply
don't go to bed. Does anyone else have this issue? Staying up half the night only makes the anxiety and depression worse.

Valerian Root
Does anyone here find valerian root helpful during anxious times or panic attacks? I’ve heard it’s a sleep aid but can be calming. Also does anyone know of any other natural products that are calming but aren’t sedating so I can take it before work? I was thinking of kava but a woman I know who owns

Where to get intralipid?
Hi everyone, hoping someone can help point me in the right direction? Am having donor egg treatment in Spain and as have elevated natural killer cells they've advised to get an Intralipid done. I have the Intralipid solution from them (interestingly this cost just 35 euro!) But am struggling to find

PAF and sleep apnea
I have posted that I am going in for treatment of my AFib with flutter in July. One interesting discovery I’ve made is in being studied for apnea at the insistence of my primary care doctor. I have very mild apnea. The interesting part to me is that the study didn’t focus so much on the apnea but on

Hi, fellow and sister RLS/WED sufferers! I'm an American Benedictine sister here on false pretenses because the profile does not want anyone to be born before 1930, and I was born in 1926.
