Thyrotoxicosis PLEASE HELP
I went to A&E a few days ago (before my blood test results were known, I simply told them my thyroid issue is currently untreated) as I
simply
can’t continue living like this. They just told me to ‘
sleep
it off’ and sent me home. I WANT TO SCREAM.

Careers / jobs that suit people who have Parkinson's disease ?
Looking for suggestions. Good paying jobs that don't require a great deal of manual dexterity, writing, or psychological stress? My current job is getting harder to do. I am a tech in a cardiac catheterization lab where i assist physicians with image guided diagnostic and interventional procedures.I

Castlemans disease with ITP
Has anyone with ITP been diagnosed with Castlemans disease? My 18 year old daughter, who has had ITP for two years now, had an enlarged lymph node taken out. It came back as Castlemans disease...which sometimes causes ITP. Had anyone experienced this?

The last time I saw my Asthma Consultant, he suggested that I do a Sleep test, So I did the first test and got a letter from the hospital telling me that I had to go and pick up a CPAP machine, then I got a letter from a Consultant who I never met telling me I have Sleep Apnea. So I went and picked

Pergolide
I was taking pergolide for Restless Legs for about 15 years plus and it was effective. It was a joy after the misery of years of RLS. However, six years ago the GP and neurologist both decide to stop prescribing the drug as recent research revealed in certain cases it might affect the heart valves

Can you help me put together a program to make it bearable?
Can you help me put together a program to make it bearable? Hi, I've had IPF for 7 years with sleep apnea and A-Fib as comorbidities. Over the last few weeks, it seems that Fibromyalgia is to be added to the list. It's hit me like a bombshell.

Rytary and Bydureon updates
I have posted about this in the past six months and wanted to give an update. I started Rytary about 6 months ago and struggled to find a way to control my symptoms. It is a slow acting form of Carbidopa and Levodopa that is a controlled release capsule. I said “slow acting” because it takes a while

Increasing dosage of Nebivolol
Hi - I'm on a dosage of 5mg of Nebivolol (2.5 mg in the AM & 2.5mg in the PM) for my atrial tachycardia. I have been getting a few runs of fast heartbeats and palpitations that don't turn into a full blown episode around 2 or 3 AM in the morning. Should I ask to increase the evening dosage to address

Swedish massage therapy
Hi, I am from Mississauga. I have been suffering from body pain for about 2 weeks after I fall down from the stairs. I tried some medicines. But it has no effect. It couldn't reduce my body pain. So I thought of going for a Swedish massage treatment. I was looking for good massage therapy services.

Curious to know how many have real sleep issues with MS besides pain.
Is insomnia which contributes to over all function and its organs a symptom of MS?How many of us sleep less than 4 hrs a night or cant get to sleep at all.

Insomnia and worry through IVF/pregnancy after miscarriage earlier in the year
Hello I’ve always been a terrible sleeper. I am really pleased that I am pregnant after my first round of ivf (very early days).l BUT... I miscarried at 21 weeks earlier in the year and although I am feeling so blessed and lucky and happy to be pregnant, I am also terrified and sleeping worse than ever

Magnesium glycinate
I have recently tried this for anxiety and sleep and it really helped but the tablets I have are really large and I’m gagging and choking to swallow then even when halved. Can anyone recommend a brand which is easier to swallow?

Sleep study on Thursday! HELP!!!!
I'm back again and this time with a 'How to cope' question of a different sort. On Thursday night I have a sleep study booked. It's now 1.45 am and I've been up since before midnight with a bad RL episode. I'm dreading the sleep study and worry that it will be like tonight, only with wires attached everywhere

Tips for dealing with vertigo
I’m sure we’ve shared about this before, but would you mind sharing what, if anything, has helped you deal with vertigo? Dramamine has helped a bit with the nausea.
