Hi all, I am a 24 Y/O South East Asian Male.

I had Rhabdomyolysis back in Jan 2019 when I worked out too hard one day and pee'd Cola Colored urine, I din't seek for medical attention immediately as I was persistently persuaded by my mom that it was simply because I din't have enough sleep, the Cola Colored urine lasted 1.5 days and went away, but it started my urine to be Foamy. Right now I realize that time I should have went for a IV fluids and dialysis to prevent my kidney from damage. So, after 5 days since it happened, I went to a clinic and had a blood test and urine test, result came out perfect with no protein, glucose in my urine. And my EGFR was above >90. So I was told by doctor not to worry anything, because I was very afraid, that word comforted me not to worry until now.

Today (28/11/2019) , I still have Foamy Urine since that day and I am starting to get stressed, I am only 24 years old and have long journey ahead of me, I don't want to have kidney damage for the rest of my life.

I need your guidance.

Have you seen your pcp about this? Since you are still concerned, it would help for both peace of mind and also in case there is an issue.

Thank you for replying! Actually what is PCP? I went to a Nephrologist today, he told me that if there is foam in the urine but the test results keep showing no protein over and over again, there's really nothing to worry, he mentioned that the foam could also factor by Phosphorus. I do not know what to believe now at this point.

Hey, Jason! So how is your urine after three years? Do you still have foamy urine? Hopefully you can share with us your experience. I had rhabdomyolysis three weeks ago and am still dealing with its consequences. This all began with a "not-too-intensive" gym session on Oct 15. I felt muscle soreness immediately after the session, which I thought was normal after exercises. I noticed abnormal tea-colored foamy urine the next morning but I was very ignorant I didn't know anything about rhabdomyolysis so I didn't go to see my doctor until after three days of unusual urination. My CPK was over 130,000 (at the time I saw my doctor) and I was hospitalized for several days. Three weeks after this horrible accident, I am still having foamy urine (although it does get a little better), which makes me worry about my kidneys. How long did your foamy urination last?

Hello NerdyBuddy, I just had almost the exact same experience. My urine has been foamy for 4 weeks since I left the hospital. Any update on if you got checked out again or it went away?
